Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with the Rev. Tom Bandy, retired United Methodist Minister and brother of Gene Bandy, and the Baha'i Community officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Bandy was an artist, seamstress, gardener and was active in her church. Everyone who met her adored her. She attended Amarillo College and was a scholar of the Bible. She married Gene Bandy in 1939, in South Porcupine, Ontario. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Lois Blackmore and husband, Ron, of Riverside, Calif., and Carol Miranda and Barbara Merchant and husband, Leonard, all of Amarillo; a grandson, Guy Matthew Miller of Elmira, Ore.; six sisters; and four brothers. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Arnett was born in Wheeler County in 1907. She went to West Texas State Teachers College in 1924. She was a teacher, a homemaker, and also worked for several years in the office of Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. She married John Arnett in 1929 in Amarillo. Margaret was a member of Amarillo Bible Church and was very active in all of the children's programs. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963. Survivors include a daughter, Lita Joyce Holsteen of Littleton, Colo.; a son, Bobby John Arnett of Wills Point; a sister, Bonnie King of Waco; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Phu Phan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Wieck was born July 23, 1912, in Cedar Rapids, Neb., to Louis and Mary Liekhus Wieck. He attended school in Umbarger and married Rose Friemel in Umbarger in 1933. She preceded him in death in 1968. He operated Wieck Repair and Supply in Umbarger for 45 years. He married Mary Grabber in Umbarger in 1971. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church of Canyon. He was preceded in death by his first wife; a son, Dennis in 1949; a daughter, Patricia in 1972; a brother, John Wieck; and two sisters, Elizabeth Skypala and Clara Reinart. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janice McFarland of Kingwood; three sons, Melvin Wieck and Fred Wieck, both of Canyon, and Robert Wieck of Amarillo; two brothers, Joe Wieck and Ed Wieck, both of Canyon; a sister, Josephine Friemel of Canyon; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
