Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Addington, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Campbell was born Dec. 23, 1919, in Berlin, Okla., to Mike Campbell and Ella Cramer Campbell. He married Betty Rose on June 4, 1943, in New Liberty, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Judy Fulcher of Arlington; three sisters, Loretta Wann of Elk City, Colene Barnes of Oklahoma City and Irene Flynn of Sayre, Okla.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Georgia St. Mrs. Schniers was born in Childress on Nov. 26, 1953, to James Clifford and Mary Jane West. She married Greg Schniers in Amarillo on May 23, 1992. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sara Moore and husband, Scott, of Amarillo; a son, Capt. Mrs. Helmer was born April 6, 1936, in Neptune City, N.J., to Ellis D. and Lulu Nellett Hamson. She had worked as a teacher's assistant at a vocational high school. Survivors include her husband, Bill; three daughters, Deborah Lucas and Donna Crawford, both of Amarillo, and Luann Wercoch of Grassy Sound, N.J.; three sisters, Betty Lucas of Sunray, Adlyne Carnes of Perryton and Evelyn Harland of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Ellis S. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Shattuck Memorial Cemetery in Shattuck, Okla., with the Rev. Floyd Theissen officiating. Mrs. Helfenbein was born May 5, 1901, nine miles southeast of Shattuck, known at that time as Indian Territory. She married David Helfenbein on May 25, 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1964; and two sons, Melvin Helfenbein in December 1997 and David Helfenbein Jr. in November 1998. Survivors include four daughters, Esther Burgess, Irene Wimmer and Clara Wimmer, all of Amarillo, and Ruth Yauck of Follett; two sons, Elmer Helfenbein of Dumas and Lewis Helfenbein of Amarillo; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Arrangements were by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Mr. Vinson was born Sept. 19, 1935, to G.M. and Marjorie Vinson. Mick lived much of his life in Dalhart, Texas. Survivors include a daughter, Kari Bain of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren; a sister, Deanna Davis of Everton; three brothers, Lowell Vinson and Don Vinson, both of Dalhart, and Larry Vinson of Dumas, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Amarillo Globe-News, May 22, 2003 Sidney Dell Johnson Bullock AUBREY - Sidney Dell Johnson Bullock, 76, died Monday, May 19, 2003, in Denton. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Harrol Bowman officiating. Arrangements are by Slay Memorial Funeral Center. A native of the Panhandle of Texas, Mrs. Bullock was born Sept. 10, 1926, in the West Texas farming community of Lazbuddie, to George G. and Willie Wagnon Johnson. After graduating from Texas Tech University West Texas School of Nursing in 1946 as a registered nurse, she married Wyle M. Bullock of Becton. Her 57-year nursing career included neurosurgery, cardiology, pediatric and endocrinology specialties after nursing residence training at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. She also worked as a charge nurse and director of nurses for Castro County Memorial Hospital from 1969 to 1980. She entered the field of home health care with Panhandle Health Care in Amarillo in 1981, serving as quality control director and instructor until her retirement in 1999. In addition to her nursing career, she was elected as state Democratic executive committee member in the 30th senatorial district of Texas in 1962. She was a past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star for Muleshoe Chapter and a deputy worthy matron. She also served as mother adviser of the Muleshoe Chapter Order of Rainbow Girls. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Aubrey. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nona Faye Precure in 1998, her mother in 1961, and her father in 1979. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Christine Carr and husband, Curtes Marsing, of Bella Vista, Calif.; a son, Ron Bullock and wife, Nancy, of Aubrey; four grandchildren, Nathan, 17, Caitlin, 15, and Jacqueline Bullock, 11, all of Aubrey, and Kellan Marsing, 11, of Bella Vista; and a sister, Margaret Ann Edwards of Laurel, Miss. He married Sherrill Kaye Sharp on Aug. 27, 1966. Survivors include his wife; a son, Mike Vandergriff of Georgetown; a daughter, Charlotte Thompson of San Angelo; five grandchildren; his mother, Lavena Wagner of San Angelo; and two brothers, Jerry Vandergriff of San Angelo and Leon Vandergriff of Odessa.
