Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Miami Cemetery with the Rev. Don Kinder, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Miami, officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Wilde was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Hereford. He had been a Claude resident from 1969 until moving to Miami in 1993. He married Margaret Chain on Nov. 4, 1946, in Clovis, N.M. He was a retired welder and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Margaret Kelley of Claude, Glenna Roesener of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Launa Harrow of Bentonville, Ark., and Judy Lambert of Amarillo; three sons, Jeff Wilde of Butte, Mont., Kevin Wilde and Nathan Wilde, both of Amarillo; a brother, James B. Wilde of Mount Airy, N.C.; four sisters, Sally McMahan of Trinity, N.C., Janie LeDesma of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Linda Lasher of Dallas and Zelpha Dean of Lorenburg, N.C.; 21 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing today in Claude. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Christian Church. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors. Mr. Webb was born Dec. 17, 1929, in Canadian to Arthur Allen and Bessie Lee Bartram Webb. He graduated from Canadian High School in 1947 and Oklahoma State University in 1951. He married Amber Cooper in 1950. He married Susie Coots on Sept. 1, 1957, in Raton, N.M. She died on Nov. 19, 1989. He married Ann Arrington on July 2, 1990, in Canadian. He was past president of Canadian Feed Yards. He also served on the CHS School Board, the Hemphill County Hospital Board and was a member of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and Texas Cattle Feeders. He was an Alumni of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was a rancher and a bridge player. He had ranched in Oklahoma, Montana and the Texas Panhandle. He was preceded in death by his first wife; a son, Charles Roger Webb, in 1965; and a brother, L.H. Webb, in 1957. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kelly Caccia and husband, Tom, of Englewood, Colo., and Dawn Webb of Canadian; three sons, L.H. Webb and wife, Nana, of McLean, Trey Webb and wife, Anita, of Canadian and Buddy Webb and wife, Ginger, of Lipscomb; and 13 grandchildren. He had been a Panhandle resident since 1969, moving there from Amarillo. He married June Parker on Sept. 12, 1953, in Blackwood Monmouthshire, South Wales. He was a volunteer firefighter since 1970, fire marshal, dispatcher, member of State Fireman's and Fire Marshals Association of Texas, member of Brothers of Third Wheel Inc. International Trikers Association, A.A.R.P., American Legion, International Association of Machinists, Aerospace Workers Union and Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy. He was a retired machinist from Pantex, Mason Hanger. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Panhandle. Survivors include a son, Jack Wayland McClellan Jr. of Corsicana; three daughters, Gill Armstrong of Stephenville, Lynda June Hitchcock of Valparaiso, Ind., and Vickie Scott of Round Rock; a brother, Jimmy McClellan of Pearsall; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Alvin Petty, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Friona, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home. Mrs. Deaton had been a Friona resident since 1977. She moved from Spur. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She married Lewis Eugene Hickman on Aug. 26, 1940, in Carlsbad, N.M. He died on June 11, 1965. She then married L.L. Deaton on June 9, 1977, in Friona. He died on Jan. 22, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lewis Lee Hickman on April 28, 1952; and a grandson, Trent Shelton on Dec. 5, 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie Joe Holbrooks of White River and Beth Shelton of Friona; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Mobeetie Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mrs. Riley was born Aug. 16, 1920, in Mobeetie to Paul and Sarah Ray Corcoran. She attended Union and Mobeetie Schools. She married Earl W. Riley in Wheeler on Dec. 24, 1937. They moved to McLean from Mobeetie in 1952. She worked for 17 years in the school cafeteria in McLean. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McLean and the Fidelas Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 12 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband; two sons, E.W. Riley Jr. and wife, Darlene, of Tulia and Joe Riley and wife, Jacque, of McLean; three grandchildren, David Riley and wife, Grethen, Amy Hossler and husband, John, and Randi Riley; and four great-grandchildren, Heidi Riley, Haley Hossler, Sophia Hossler and Jaden Hossler. He attended school in Willow Point, Wise County. He was married to Lillian E. Cheves for 35 years and she preceded him in death in January of this year. He retired from the Navy after 20 years and was in the Civil Service for 20 years. He was a master mason, Jefferson Lodge No. 107, Washington State. He was the youngest of 12 children and was the last to pass away. Survivors include a daughter, Anita Jesse of Amarillo; a son, Jack Cheves of Knoxville, Tenn.; seven stepchildren; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
