Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Paramount Terrace Christian Church with the Rev. Scott Greer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Henson was born July 19, 1941, in Little Rock, Ark., to William Richard and Nona Whitmire Henson. He graduated from Arkansas A&M with a bachelor's of science in education. He had belonged to the Arkansas National Guard. He was a member and past president of the Amarillo West Rotary. He had twice been a Paul Harris Fellow recipient. He had been a member of the Longview and Santa Fe Rotary clubs before moving to Amarillo. He was a master Mason and belonged to Canyon Lodge No. 730. He worked for the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce and was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church. He married Donna Abbott on Nov. 1, 1963, in Little Rock. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jami Parton of Amarillo; two sons, Ritchy Henson and wife, Mary, of Amarillo and Earl Henson and wife, Shelley, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Martha Morris of North Little Rock, Ark.; and two granddaughters, Kylie Parton and Abby Parton. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Riley was born Jan. 24, 1926, near Goodnight. She graduated from Claude High School in 1943. Thereafter she attended West Texas State University. For many years she was a secretary for the Potter County Veterans Administration office. She was also a secretary for the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. She married Perry William Grant Riley on June 1, 1957, in Claude. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband in March 1978; her parents, John William Luther Sr. and Beryle Irene Thomas Luther; and a brother, John William Luther Jr. in October 2000. Survivors include two daughters, Rena Joy Smith and husband, Samuel, of Amarillo and Lou Ann Riley of Lubbock; and three grandchildren, Seaman Kendra Smith of the Navy, and Kristen and Austin White, both of Lubbock. Mitchell in Raton, M.M., on Feb. 29, 1940. She was a homemaker and loved being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She and her husband enjoyed traveling around the country every chance they could. She was a devoted member of Bykota Baptist Church and was a very active member until her illness slowed her down. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Province was born June 20, 1929, in Dupree, S.D., to Emery and Sydvia Province. He grew up in and around Lantry, S.D. At age 15 he went into the service under his older brother's name, Clarence. Upon discovering his age, the Army sent him home. He joined the Marine Corps at age 19 and served in Korea attaining rank of corporal. After returning to South Dakota, he moved to Amarillo in 1954. He worked at the zinc smelter until it closed and then worked at Asarco as a foreman in anade casting. He retired from Asarco in 1986. He had a concession stand at the old I.C.X. Flea Market until 2000. On June 20, 1981, he married Betty DeShazo Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clarence, Ed and Bill; and sisters, Arlene and Dorothy. Amarillo Globe-News, June 22, 2003 Frederick "Fred" Davis Frederick "Fred" Davis, 82, of Amarillo died Thursday, June 19, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with the Rev. Troy Richardson, of Temple Baptist Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mr. Davis was born Oct. 30, 1920, in Ozark, Ark., to Hattie Williams Davis and Joseph Albert "Bert" Davis. He served in the Army during World War II in which he participated in the invasion of Normandy. He also served in the Korean War and was stationed in Korea when the Chinese entered during their winter offensive. He retired as a major after 22 years of service on Jan. 31, 1961. In civilian life, he worked as a real estate broker and was a real estate investor. During this time he owned over 100 apartments. He retired from real estate in 1993. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Retired Officers Association and the Amarillo Board of Realtors, which he served as vice-president. Survivors include his wife, Zoe; a son, Ron Davis and wife, Tracy, of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Kimberly Davis of Austin, and James Davis and Tory VanDamme, both of Amarillo; and two great-grandchildren, Asthon Davis and Kortni VanDamme, both of Amarillo. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Monsignor Joseph Tash as celebrant. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M., by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Reynolds moved to Clovis, N.M., in 1939 after graduating from Hereford High School. There she met her husband, Jim, and they married in 1943. They spent 49 wonderful years together. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis for 50 years before moving to Amarillo where she was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She was a member of the Monicas group and the Altar Guild. While living in Clovis, she donated her time to Senior Meals as the volunteer coordinator. She served as chairman of the Home and School Association, served on the Sacred Heart School Board, was secretary of the Sacred Heart Altar Society and active with the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was chaplain of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3280 and drove the school bus for Sacred Heart School. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and an avid baseball fan and bowler. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Gallimore was born June 27, 1925, in Seymour to William Diedrick Renner and Ethel Porter Renner. She came to Pampa in 1946 from Seymour. She was a graduate of Seymour High School and received her training as a licensed vocational nurse in Midland. She worked as a nurse in the nursery department of South Park Medical Center in Lubbock for 17 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Gallimore; her parents, William and Ethel Renner; five brothers, Jess Renner, Roland Renner, Perry Renner, Roy Renner and William Renner; and a sister, Inez White. Mrs. Sherrill was born May 3, 1931, in Garza County. She married J.E. Sherrill on March 20, 1949, in Tahoka. They moved to Bovina in 1953. She and her husband owned and operated Sherrill Lumber Co. in Bovina for many years. She was a member of Bovina Church of Christ. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Hereford Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ted Taylor officiating. Private family interment will be by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Carlile was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Sweetwater, the son of Marvin and Lura Carlile. He married Lynne Poarch on Sept. 26, 1974, in Hereford. He graduated from Abilene Christian University and became a bank examiner for the State of New Mexico. He then became executive vice president of Hereford State Bank and was promoted to president of Hereford State Bank, serving in that position for over three years. He moved to Tulia and assumed the position of president from his father of First National Bank of Tulia, where he served for six years. He also served as president of Hereford State Bank Board of Directors. He was president of First National Bank Board of Directors in Tulia and served on the board of directors of First Abilene Bank Shares. After retiring from the banking industry, he was employed as general manager of Merrick Pet Foods in Hereford. He served as secretary of the Hereford Hospital Board, was a founding member of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and was a past president of the Hereford Booster Club where he was responsible for helping raise enough funds to purchase two new HERD sport buses. He was also a member of Hereford Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Aleck D. Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Lynne; a son, Jeff Chad Carlile of Lubbock; three daughters, Marta Turley of Sugar Hill, Ga., Robbin Anderson of McKinney and Lyndi Carlile of Moore, Okla.; a brother, Winfred Carlile of Lovington, N.M., a sister, Flo Nichols of Lubbock; and four grandchildren.
