Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Smith was a waitress at L&J Lounge. She was a Baptist. Survivors include a sister, Sandra Lester and husband, David, of Amarillo; an aunt, Dee Ann Seymour of Amarillo; two uncles; and five nieces, Amy Parish and Candis Parish, both of Houston, Brandi Lester of Amarillo, and Lexa Smith and Destiny Smith, both of Clinton, Okla. The family suggests memorials be to Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center. Amarillo Globe-News, June 28, 2003 Elbert D. Williams STRATFORD - Elbert D. Williams, 77, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Christian Church with the Rev. Bob Sweeten, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Stratford Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Williams was born June 4, 1926, in LaPlata, Mo. He was a Stratford resident for 56 years. He was a member of First Christian Church. He married Mary Faye Shipp on Nov. 19, 1945, in LaPlata. He served in the Navy. He owned and operated Stratford Body Shop until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, a daughter, three brothers and a sister. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy Williams and wife, Mary Pat, of Stratford and Steve Williams and wife, LaVon of Midlothian, Va.; a sister, Joy Burnam of Bloomfield, Iowa; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to Coldwater Manor Activity Fund, 1111 Beaver Road, Stratford, TX 79084. The family will be at 301 S. Wall St. in Stratford. Michael Waterbury officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Lambert was a member of Full Gospel Church. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1957. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Johnson of Perryton; a son, Allen Wawak of Elgin, Okla.; two brothers, Everett Gipson and Jack Gipson, both of Perryton; two sisters, Beulah Stumpf and Faye Gipson, both of Perryton; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Kelso was born Dec. 15, 1934, in Paris, Texas. She married Harlen Kelso on Jan. 11, 1950, in Quanah. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Tanya Steel and Karla Casey, both of Vernon; a son, Ricky Kelso of Childress; a brother, Delton Foley of Childress; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Fairmont Cemetery, northeast of Follett with the Rev. Clay Wells officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker. Mr. Ives was born May 16, 1942, in Follett. He served in the Army and was stationed in several places. Survivors include his wife, Rachel; two sons, Russell Ives of Follett and Cris Ives of Newcastle, Okla.; a daughter, RaGenia Ives of Woodward, Okla.; and two brothers, Jess Ives of Follett and Bob Ives of Waukomis, Okla.
