Memorial services will be at 9 a.m. (MDT) today in the fellowship hall of Emmanuel Baptist Church with family members officiating. Arrangements are by Wheeler Mortuary. Ms. Heflin was born Sept. 9, 1922, in Salano. to Edna and W.H. Heflin. She was a retired beautician and beauty college instructor. She had lived in Portales for more than 70 years. Survivors include a son, Bud Miller and wife, Barbara of Portales; a daughter, Margaret Brake and husband, Kenneth of Amarillo, Texas; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Jo Brown of Clovis. Amarillo Globe-News, July 5, 2003 Oklahoma Tony Lee Bressler GUYMON, Okla. - Tony Lee Bressler, 43, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, in Fort Worth, Texas. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Straight Christian Church in Straight with Roy Smotherman, pastor, officiating. Family burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. Mr. Bressler grew up in Guymon and graduated with the Guymon High School class of 1977. He had been a resident of Boyd, Texas, for the past two years. Survivors include two sons, Derrick Bressler of Guymon and Rusty Bressler of Boyd; his parents, Bill and Veda Bressler of Guymon; three brothers, Kelly Bressler of Guymon, Brad Bressler of Wylie, Texas, and Mike Bressler of Alva. The family suggests memorials be to the Tony Bressler Memorial for his son's college expenses and may be sent to the funeral home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
