Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Stokes enlisted in the Army in 1960 and received a medical discharge in 1961. He worked for Panhandle Industrial as a machinist for 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Linda; two sons, Shane Stokes of Pampa and Scott Stokes of Meridian, Miss.; his mother, Lillian B. Stokes of Pampa; a brother, Danny Mack Stokes of Pampa; and five grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Central Baptist Church, Building Fund, 513 E. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Wagoner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Hunt was born Dec. 30, 1955, in Dumas. He was a lifetime resident of Dumas. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He married Bonnie Harris on April 9, 1983, in Gruver. He loved learning about marketing and agriculture. He was a member of Genesis Sunday School class. He worked three years as a millwright at Fish Construction before he became engaged in farming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Hunt and Billie Hunt. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Holden Hunt and Tanner Hunt, both of Dumas; a brother, Brady Hunt and wife, Janis, of Dumas; a sister, Brenda Ross and husband, Danny, of Richmond; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and DeVonna Harris of Guymon, Okla.; a nephew; five nieces; and a great-nephew. The family will be at the Hunt home, west of Dumas. Mrs. Newman was born May 14, 1913, in Hardeman County. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Hardeman County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Roberts. Mr. Sanning was born Dec. 29, 1914, in Mary's Home, Mo. He married Anna Marie Kuehler on Jan. 16, 1940, in Groom. He farmed for over 65 years. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. He was self-employed as a repairman, working on small engines. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Survivors include six sons, Frank Roy Ochoa, Freddie Ochoa, Louie Ochoa, Ray Ochoa, Jerry Ochoa and Andy Ochoa, all of Amarillo; four daughters, Marilyn Perez of Reno, Nev., Stephanie Ochoa of Greensboro, N.C., and Josette Salas and Ester Soto, both of Amarillo; a brother, Reuben Ochoa of Dallas; a sister, Sally Oedewaldt of Picking, Ill.; 26 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. Mrs. Clifton married Dale Clifton on Nov. 23, 1932, in Woodward, Okla. She worked as a clerk for the city of Guymon for several years. Survivors include two daughters, Joan Costner of Guymon and Jeanette Crowder of Blossom, Texas; a brother, Robert Baird of Woodward; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hedley First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bruce Howard, pastor of First Baptist Church in Hedley, officiating. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mrs. Brown was born June 4, 1912, in Claremore, Okla., and had been a resident of Hedley since 1933. She was first married to Curtis Mullins and then later to Milton Brown. She was a homemaker and member of the Wellington Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Hedley. Pallbearers will be grandsons of Mrs. Brown. She was preceded in death by both her husbands; an infant son; a daughter, Evelyn Myers; two other sons, Marvin Mullins and Tinsley Mullins; and a brother, Jack Denton. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Watt of Hedley; two sons, William Mullins of Elkland, Mo., and Leonard Mullins of Fritch; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
