Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hill, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes. Mr. Lewis was born in Arlington and was an Amarillo resident for 70 years. He retired from the Amarillo Independent School District and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Lois Ann Fisher of Amarillo and Joyce Lewis of Los Angeles; three sons, Van Lewis of Los Angeles, Dan Lewis of Oakland, Calif., and Don Lewis of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Monsignor James Gurzynski as celebrant. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Mastick married Ron Mastick in San Antonio on June 1, 1980. She did interior design and also worked for the postal service. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and wife to her family. She will be greatly missed and always loved. She was preceded in death by her mother, Graciola Del Rio; and a brother, Xavier Rodriguez. Survivors include her husband, Ron; a daughter, Michelle Mastick of Amarillo; a son, Erick Mastick of Amarillo; her father, David Rodriguez of Guadalajara, Mexico; two sisters, Marina Martinez of Los Angeles and Fabiola Godinez of Guadalajara; and three brothers, David Rodriguez and Fabio Rodriguez, both of Guadalajara, and Clavdio Rodriguez of Mexico City, Mexico. Amarillo Globe-News, July 20, 2003 Robert M. "Bobby" Vaughn Robert M. "Bobby" Vaughn, 53, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 12, 2003. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cox Funeral Home, Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with the Rev. Rusty Dickerson, of St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Vaughn was born and raised in Amarillo. He was a 1968 graduate of Tascosa High School. He attended The University of Texas at Austin and was the only male student in his graduating class at Amarillo College, School of Nursing, in 1990. He worked as a registered nurse at the Clements Unit. He was a musician and played the bass guitar in bands for many years. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Marvin James officiating. Private burial will be by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Donnell was born in Pauls Valley, Okla. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Dumas. Since 1985, she was a member of Lake Tanglewood Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.O. Donnell, on Feb. 11, 1986. Mr. Jones was born July 26, 1925, in Steve, Ark., and attended school in Braggs, Okla. He served in the Navy during World War II as a shipfitter from July 1943 to December 1945. He married LaVerne Allen on March 30, 1945, in Amarillo. He was an active member of Family Worship Center of Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Newell in 1977; and a grandson, Thomas Wayne Testerman in 2001. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Barranco Funeral Home in Severna Park, Md. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery of Glen Burnie, Md. Local arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mrs. Olsen was born in Olyphant, Pa., to Dan and Mary Sych Kalowsky, one of nine children, and relocated to Grassy, Pa. She graduated from Olyphant High School and Scranton Business College. During the war she came to Baltimore, where she lived with her sister's family and worked for Westinghouse Corp. She was married to William Olsen until 1968. During the 1970s, she worked for the State of Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles until her retirement. She moved to Jacksonville, Fla., to live with her daughter's family, and followed them to Frederick, Md., Canfield, Ohio, then to Canyon. She had been a resident of IHS of Canyon for the past two and a half years. When she lived in Ohio, she was actively involved in the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program through her church of St. Michael's. Helen had many friends at IHS of Canyon, who made her last years meaningful. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Paul Smith. Survivors include a son, Dan Olsen of Annapolis, Md.; a daughter, Donna Smith and husband, James, of Amarillo; and three grandchildren, Patrick Olsen of East Port, Md., Lt. j.g. J. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Pfeil was born March 20, 1910, in Wheeler in a covered wagon. She married D.T. Pfeil on Dec. 24, 1923, in Erick, Okla. Mrs. Pfeil moved to Lefors in 1932, where she resided until moving to Pampa in 1990. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Pampa, which she attended for the past 50 years. She graduated from Pampa Beauty College in 1960 and owned Teba's Beauty Box in Lefors. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; two daughters, Pauline and Josephine Pfeil; two grandsons, Buddy and Dennis Ring; four sisters; and five brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Billie James and Barbara Ring, both of Pampa, and Delena Young of Fort Towson; a brother, Andrew McCathern of Pampa; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
