Mrs. Buchanan was a member of First United Methodist Church of Spearman. She had been active in the lay witness mission with the United Methodist Women. She was a homemaker and a great cook. Survivors include a son, Burl Buchanan and wife, Nellie, of Spearman; a grandson, Roger Buchanan of Spearman; a granddaughter, Jana Buchanan of Amarillo; and a great-great-nephew, Brice Jarvis of Spearman. Reginald Bridges, retired Baptist minister of Lubbock, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Willis was a member of Hobart Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary. Survivors include three daughters, Gwyn Scott of Borger, Geraldine Gray of Lawton, Okla., and Lois Minnick of Pampa; a sister, Eva Reeves of Burleson; a brother, Oscar Cast of Santa Anna, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Gallimore, 78, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, Colonial Chapel, with Bill Tomlin, chaplain of the Good Shepherd Hospice in Oklahoma City, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with Masonic rites courtesy of Top O' Texas Masonic Lodge No. 1381 AF & AM, and military rites courtesy of the Marine Corps. Mr. Gallimore was born March 16, 1925, and reared in and around Seymour, Baylor County. He left high school to join the Marine Corps in 1942. He was discharged as a sergeant in 1945. He joined the Texas National Guard in Pampa and retired as sergeant major with 20 years total service. He earned his GED while in the Guard. He worked for Electric Supply and Chase Electric, and in 1964, he went into the electrical contracting business with Wayne Brooks (B&G Electric), and sold out to his partner in 1970. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Third Marine Division Association and the Good Sam Camping Club. He was a member of the Top O' Texas Masonic Lodge No. 1381 AF & AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies of Lubbock and the Shrine Clubs of Pampa and Amarillo. His hobbies included playing dominoes, cards and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lee and Mary B. Gallimore; his wife, Georgia Gallimore on June 21, 2003; a son, Dale Gallimore; a brother, Lee Gallimore; and a sister, Ruth Broadwater. Mr. Blair was born Sept. 11, 1930. There are no known survivors. Amarillo Globe-News, July 24, 2003 Steven Lee Aulbach Steven Lee Aulbach, 47, of Amarillo died Sunday, July 20, 2003. Memorial services in celebration of his life will be at 10 a.m. today in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Dr. Kurt Oheim of Pinnacle Community Church officiating. Mr. Aulbach was born in Amarillo. He was in the Navy from 1975 to 1979 and served as a communications specialist aboard the USS Guam. After leaving the Navy, he attended West Texas A&M University where he obtained a BBA in computer science and an MBA degree. He then worked in the computer field and became a self-employed computer consultant. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176. Amarillo Globe-News, July 24, 2003 Zelpha Mae Purl Zelpha Mae Purl, 84, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 22, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Polk Street United Methodist Church Chapel with the Rev. Marty Hamrick, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Purl was born June 25, 1919, in Piedmont, Okla., to Purl G. Beck and Maude Hoover Beck. Orphaned at 11 months, she was raised by her maternal grandparents who were both gone by the time she was 17. She married Ernest Edgar Purl, also an orphan, on Feb. 3, 1940, in Oklahoma City. She was an Amarillo resident and member of Polk Street United Methodist Church 50/50 Class since 1958. In 1980, she retired as a cafeteria manager for Amarillo Independent School District. As a military wife, she often had full care of four children while her husband was absent in service of his country. She was a devoted and faithful wife and mother through many moves and transfers of a military wife. She always anchored herself in her new community with the church as her center and insisted that her family be present every Sunday morning. For this her children now rise up and call her blessed. She was admired by her family for her integrity, generosity, industriousness, honesty and her labor for others. She shall be missed for her ready smile and easy laugh. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; and a grandson, Patrick Smith in 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Carol McMeans and husband, Clyde, of Bellaire and Mary Anne Smith and husband, Irv, of Lockhart; two sons, Sam Purl and wife, Kallene, of Amarillo and the Rev. David Purl and wife, Dr. Carmen Purl, of Sunray; two cousins, Hallie Jean Hull of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Dorothy Henthorn of Enid, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Reimann was born Nov. 23, 1919. He married Barbara Bowles on Feb. 3, 1950, in Hardesty. Survivors include a son, A.B. Reimann Jr. of Dodge City, Kan.; a sister, Mary Trimmell of Liberal, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
