Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today in Happy's Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Name Catholic Church with Monsignor Mario Stortz, retired Diocese of Amarillo, and the Rev. John Joseph Kodankandath, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Catholic Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mrs. Schulte was born Aug. 25, 1916, south of Happy. She was the last surviving child of Ludwig and Barbara Irlbeck who were pioneers in Happy since 1910. She married Carl Herman Schulte on June 30, 1936. They were married 60 years before his death in 1996. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two grandchildren; four sisters; and five brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Lemons of Lubbock and Rose Braddock of Nazareth; a son, David Schulte of Happy; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 10, 2003 Jesse Medrano Sr. DIMMITT - Jesse Medrano Sr., 53, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Abundant Family Life Church in Dimmitt with the Rev. Tom Mullins officiating. Burial will be in the Hart Cemetery at Hart. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home of Hereford. Mr. Medrano was born Oct. 30, 1949, in Marlin, the son of Seferino and Maria Medrano. He married Delia Tenorio on April 28, 1978, in Dimmitt. He was self-employed in the heating and refrigeration industry for more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1988. Survivors include two sons, Jesse Jr. and Jacob Medrano, both of Dimmitt; three daughters, Suzanna DeLeon of Hereford, Jessica Marmolejo, and Roxanne Vargas, both of Dimmitt; two brothers, Thomas Medrano of Ropesville and Frank Medrano of Dimmitt; four sisters, Betty Montiel of Hart, Janie Garcia of Olton, Rena Lumbrera of Dimmitt and Tomasa Nino of Dalhart; and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Bradstreet was born Aug. 26, 1903, in Oklahoma to A.B. and Velma Hall Evans. She married George Bradstreet in 1919 in Wheeler. She lived all her life in Wheeler and Hemphill County. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963. She married John Gilmer on March 26, 1934, in Cheyenne, Okla. She lived in the Briscoe and Allison areas all of her life. She was a writer for the Wheeler Times and a homemaker. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Allison. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982; three brothers and a sister. Lloyd and Mayme Lee Ramsey. She was a graduate of Sudan High School. She had lived in Amarillo since 1952 when she went to work at the Bureau of Mines, Helium Operations, in Amarillo with 30 years of government service. She married Henry Proctor in Amarillo on Aug. 27, 1965. She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church and was most recently a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo. She was also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1248 in Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; a son, Royce Gregg Daniell and wife, Jan, of Fort Worth; two stepdaughters, Catherine Gore and husband, Jim, of Amarillo and Margaret Proctor and husband, Alan Garns, of Richmond; two brothers, D.A. "Bill" Mongold W.P. "Bill" Mongold, 80, of Amarillo died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount, with the Rev. Robert E. Field, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery of Borger. Mr. Mongold was born in Sapulpa, Okla. He moved to Borger in 1926, and lived there until 1973. He graduated from Borger High School in 1941. He was a veteran in the Naval Air Corps where he was the aviation ordnance man. He was discharged in 1945. He received an associate in arts degree from Frank Phillips College in 1952. He had worked as an engineer in the Dowell Division of Dow Chemical Co. He moved to Amarillo in 1982. He married Ruby Giles on Nov. 2, 1942, in Dumas. After retirement, he spent his time woodworking and making stained glass, which he enjoyed giving to friends and family. He was a member of First Baptist Chruch and later Coulter Road Baptist Church. He had been a member of the Holiday Travel Club and the WAGGS Travel Club. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 6, 1998. Survivors include his children, Joycelyn Miller of Salado, Randy Mongold of Tomball and Lavon Phillips of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Anderson; a son, Bill Anderson; her parents, Adam and Mary Donges; and a sister, Adelene Johnson. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Pampa by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Page was born in Kansas City, Mo., on Jan. 8, 1905. She married Duane W. Page in September 1926 and moved to Borger in 1927. She lived in Borger for 60 years where she taught adult Sunday school at First Methodist Church and later at Wesley Methodist Church. She was active in the W.S.C.S. and W.M.W., holding a district office and office in the local church. She moved to Sun City West, Ariz., in 1987 where she lived until 1992, moving to Amarillo at that time. She was preceded in death by her husband; and her sons, Robert, Charles and Don. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 10, 2003 Ronald Duane Hager Ronald Duane Hager, 64, of Amarillo died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount, with the Rev. James Cobb, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. at the family ranch. Mr. Hager was born and raised in Texhoma, Okla. He lived in Stratford from 1966 to 1984 and owned a service station. He was a former mayor and city councilman. He was also a volunteer firefighter and certified EMT in Stratford. He served on the board of Stratford Area Foundation and the Canadian River Water Authority board. He moved to Amarillo in 1984 and owned the Stockyard Service and Garage. He had worked as a parts salesman for A&I, Big A and Parts Plus. For the past six years he had been a driver for Plains Transportation. He had been a member of the Southwest Football Officials, officiating age groups from Peewees to College. He was an Elder, Deacon and Sunday school superintendent for First Christian Church in Stratford and was on the area board of First Christian Church. He married Lela Hampton on Oct. 7, 1961, in Stratford. He had zest for life no matter if pumping gas, playing cards, driving trucks, refereeing a football game or spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a sister, Opal Siemiller; and three brothers, Harold Hager, Don Hager and Archie Hager. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Renee Coble and husband, Matt, of Amarillo, and Tamara Ritchie of Carrollton; a sister, Viola Scott of El Cajon, Calif.; three brothers, Larry Hager of Paris, France, Herb Hager of Spearman and Bill Hager of Parma, Idaho; five grandchildren, Ryan Coble, Courtney Coble, Landry Coble, Cyndi Ritchie and Brittany Ritchie; a very dear friend, Hardy Bill and Keva Coffman and their children, Hubble, Geocovey, Hunter, Keevin and Thea; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Marvin James officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Fotheringham was born Dec. 24, 1931, in Amarillo. She was the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Furr and the daughter of Key and Juanita Furr. She graduated from Amarillo High School and Gulf Park College. She attended Colorado University, the University of Miami and the University of Texas. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church, Amarillo Law Wives, Amarillo Junior League, P.E.O., Daughters of the American Revolution, National Association of Women in the Arts, the Presidents Club and one of the founders of the Samaritan Counseling Center. She was an incredibly artistic person, expressing herself through weaving and clay horse sculptures, always admiring a horse's graceful nature. Her compassionate spirit will live on through the abundant lives she touched. She married Tom J. Fotheringham in 1954. Survivors include her husband; a brother, Charles Key Furr and wife, Beatriz, of Devon, Pa.; two daughters, Tammy Russell of Amarillo and Teri Fotheringham of Denver; four grandchildren, Carolyn Nicole Koetting and husband, Dan, John Atkins, Lisa Atkins and Laura Atkins; a great-grandson, Colby Koetting; and a host of other relatives and friends. Georgia St. Mr. Alford graduated from Palo Duro High School and attended West Texas State University where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He married Elaine Glenn on July 12, 1969, in Amarillo. He was associated with the Amarillo Livestock Auction and the Tulia Livestock Auction. He farmed and ranched his entire life. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Alford in 1992; and a sister, Peggy Koetting in 1982. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Amy Clawson and husband, Dan, of Arlington, and Allison Alford of Canyon; his mother, Inice "Sug" Alford of Amarillo; three sisters, Jo Ann Meyer of Adrian, Eula Bax of Amarillo and Linda Robinson of Vega; two brothers, Lawson Alford of Canyon and Larry Alford of Washburn; and two grandchildren, Amanda Clawson and Trevor Clawson. Mr. Richard, loving husband and father, was born May 12, 1913, in Ellis County to Samuel and Sarah Beltz Richard. He married Elizabeth Rogers in Enid, Okla., in 1933. He owned and operated the Texaco gas station in Enid and then was a conductor for Santa Fe Railway from 1941 to 1978. He moved to Canyon from Canadian in 1955. He was a member of First Christian Church and a lifetime member of United Transportation Union. He loved his family, camping and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 12, 2003. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Kay Daniel of Irvine, Calif., Beverly Lewis of Collinsville and Pamela Riggins of Carrollton; two sons, Fred S. Richard and Sam A.
