Burial will be in Laverne Memorial Cemetery in Laverne, Okla., by Myatt-Seeger Funeral Home of Laverne. Mrs. Rupprecht was born Nov. 16, 1908, in Logan, Okla., to Benjamin Earl and Edna Arrah Viers Hood. She was a former resident of Laverne. Survivors include two sons, Deryl Wieser of Hobbs, N.M., and Gary Wieser of Salt Lake City; a sister, Berdine Nasland of Chico, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Corbett was born Nov. 27, 1905, in Durant, Okla. She married Paul Stuartt Corbett on July 21, 1935, in Las Vegas, N.M. She was a member of Culture Home Demonstration Club and was a 4-H leader. She was a member of Red Cross Grey Ladies and was the first woman Chamber of Commerce secretary in Texas. Survivors include a daughter, Paula Price of Hereford; two sons, Ronald Corbett of Carlton and James Corbett of Dallas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Boys Ranch. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 17, 2003 Grace Scroggs SPEARMAN - Grace Scroggs, 89, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Union Church with the Rev. Bill Sparks and the Rev. Marlon Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Scroggs was born in Texas County, Okla., on March 5, 1914. She married Winfield Scroggs in 1939 at Raton, N.M. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Church. She was an artist all her life and enjoyed painting and sculpting. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989; a son, Buck Scroggs in 1998; a grandson, Bart Scroggs in 1998; and a granddaughter, Shelisa Staggs in 1992. Survivors include four sons, Wilford Scroggs and Burl Scroggs, both of Dumas, Gary Scroggs of Perryton and Dale Scroggs of Stinnett; three daughters, Vera Longley of Elizabeth, Colo., Cheryl McSorley of Littleton, Colo., and Sue Staggs of Waka; 26 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren. Flaming, 82, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery. Mr. Flaming was born Jan. 5, 1921, in Corn, Okla. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, Orville Flaming, in 2002. She volunteered in various community activities as well as the Republician Party. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William L. White; her husband; and a son, Eugene M. Key. He farmed 25 years in Hereford and 15 years in Dumas. Upon retiring in 1987, he moved to Amarillo. He was a parishioner of St. Hyacinth's Catholic Church. He married Clara Wieck on Aug. 21, 1945, in Umbarger. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, Joseph and Mary Lueb Reinart; and a brother, Arhart Reinart. Survivors include four daughters, Phyllis Butler and husband, Bill, Nannette Ast and husband, Don, and Sandy Rayburn and husband, Jim, all of Amarillo, and Denise Morris and husband, Steve, of Garland; three sons, David Reinart and wife, Kay, of Dumas, and Rick Reinart and wife, Connie, and Joe Reinart and wife, Janet, all of Stratford; three brothers, Esidore Reinart, Elmer Reinart and Leander Reinart, all of Hereford; two sisters, Armella Wieck of Canyon and Helen Batenhorst of Umbarger; 29 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Faulkner was born in Henderson. He had lived in Panhandle since 1949. He retired in 1982 from the Texas Highway Department. He worked with heavy equipment. He served in World War II with the Army. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and also served in the European Theater. He married Pattie Ruth Johnson on March 30, 1944. She preceded him in death on April 26, 1991. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and had a great love for Texas A&M University and the Corps of Cadets. Survivors include his wife Edna; two sons, George Faulkner and wife, Carole, of College Station, and John Faulkner and wife, Janice, of Amarillo; two sisters, Mary Ruth Cone and Nell Faulkner, both of Berryville, Ark.; five grandchildren, Melanie Faulkner Cargo, Bryan "Bear" Faulkner, Amy Faulkner Carter, Jared "Jay" Faulkner and Holly Faulkner; three great-grandchildren, Ben, Hannah and Griffin; and extended family including, Marie Fowler of Clovis, N.M., Mary Criswell of Canyon, Jena Shepherd of Pass Christian, Miss., Charles Short of Baytown and Kelli Carnes of Vega. Mr. Jordan was born Nov. 28, 1913, in Osage County in the Strike Axe Township. He served in the Navy on a submarine during World War II. Services will be held at noon Monday in Sparkman/Richardson Funeral Home in Richardson. Burial will be in D-FW National Cemetery in Dallas. Mr. Cline was born in Hansford County to Howard T. Cline and Ila R. Tomlinson Cline on Aug. 16, 1926. He served many years with Southwestern Public Service Co. which is now known as Xcel Energy. He attended Texas Tech University and made a difference in the financial world of energy companies in the southwest focused mainly on the Panhandle of Texas. He was a veteran of the Army during the time of World War II. Survivors include his wife Dorothy; a daughter, Ardena Gallacher and husband, Mark; a sister, Cease Riley; as well as many other loving family members.
