Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Silverton Cemetery of Silverton by Wallace Funeral Home of Tulia. Mrs. Welch was born Sept. 24, 1940, in Tulia. She attended schools in Silverton. She married Carroll Welch on Sept. 17, 1956, in Fort Sumner, N.M. They lived in Swisher County since 1961. She taught school in Tulia for several years. She served on the board of directors of M.H.M.R. in Plainview and the board of directors of the Tulia Work Center (Satellite House). She served as secretary of the Plains Cutting Association for several years and was an active member of the National Cutting Horse Association. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kress where she taught Sunday school, worked in the kitchen and did volunteer work. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Donna Welch of Spokane, Wash., and Kathy Welch of Kress; her parents, Johnnie and Dean Burson of Sivlerton; two brothers, John Burson of Roswell, N.M., and Jimmy Burson of Silverton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and adopted grandchildren. She was raised in the Sherman and San Angelo area and attended Kidd Key College. She married W.C. Cleveland on Aug. 10, 1935, in San Angelo. They moved to Canadian in 1940. She was totally committed to her family and at one time was a room-mother for six children. She was a homemaker and member of the Methodist Church. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southwest Church of Christ with Brent Adams officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Pratt was born Dec. 23, 1906, in Lancaster to Herbert and Pearl Worley. She married Reuben Glenn Pratt on Dec. 24, 1924. Within a few years of their marriage Glenn began working for the railroad and in 1926 Glenn and Jennie Ruth moved to the Childress area where they started their family. In 1954 they moved to Amarillo. In 1964, Glenn retired from the railroad and Glenn and Jennie Ruth traveled the United States with their travel trailer. When Glenn passed away on Nov. 1, 1996, they had been married almost 72 years. In July 2000, Jennie Ruth moved to Saddleridge Lodge Assisted Living in Midland. She was a gifted seamstress, an artisan with crochet, as well as a talented craftsperson, making many gifts for her friends and family such as various types of dolls. She was a resident of Manor Park Mabee Center at the time of her death. The family would like to thank the thoughtful employees who assisted her at Saddlebridge Lodge and Manor Park. We would especially like to acknowledge her personal caregivers, Wynetta Reasno, Amanda Hinojosa and Mary Griffin for their loving care and devotion to Mrs. Pratt. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; three brothers, Olin Worley, J.B. Worley and Charley Worley; two sisters, Ella Mae Worley and Blanche McBroom; and a grandson, Joe Pratt. Survivors include two sons, R.G. Pratt and wife, Olivia, of Irving and Charles Ray Pratt and wife, Jerrice, of Midland; a daughter, Ruth Anne Nelson and husband, Herman, of Plainview; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Judd was born Jan. 31, 1917, in Sweetwater to Euell Wright and Mabel Lucille Wright. The Wright family moved to Amarillo in 1929 from Sweetwater. She graduated from Amarillo High in 1933 and went to West Texas State University where she majored in home economics. She met the love of her life, Paul, in 1932 and they were married June 17, 1937, by Dr. J. Howard Williams at First Baptist church parlor in Amarillo. They celebrated 66 years of marriage on June 13, 2003. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She worked out of the home for two of her favorite people, Vess Barnes Jr. and the late Joyce Barnes of Barnes Jewelry. She had also worked for Homer Damron family at Damron Jewelry. She was such a talented lady, teaching china painting and ceramics. Her hobbies were arts and crafts. She taught Sunday School at San Jacinto Baptist Church where she had been a member for 69 years, singing praises to the Lord in the choir. She was an Eastern Star member, AE Shirley Chapter. She had the most beautiful smile and was an angel, wife, mother, sister and aunt. On Sept. 6, 2003, two short weeks ago, she lost the love of her life, Paul Judd. She and Paul added so much to our world. They will be deeply missed. Euelline loved animals, friends, her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to her new friends at Crown of Texas Hospice for their love and care. She was preceded in death by her father, Euell; a brother, Jerry; her mother, Mabel; and a sister, Maxine Krause.
