Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Monday in Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in San Jose Catholic Church with Monsignor Arturo Meza, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Mr. Hernandez was born Feb. 14, 1926, in Corpus Christi. He married Maria Galvan on Dec. 11, 1964, in Hereford. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Diana Holguin of Hereford and Maria DeJesus Moreno of Corpus Christi; a sister, Josephina Martinez of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Seferino Hernandez of Mathis and Marcelino Hernandez of Michigan; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brunson was born Aug. 9, 1915, in the Lakeview community in Armstrong County. She was a resident of the Claude area all of her life. She married Clarence Franklin "Frank" Brunson on April 17, 1932, in Clovis, N.M. They owned and operated Stella Mae Shop variety store in Claude from 1959 until 1965. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and UMW ladies group. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 12, 1999; a son, Roland Howard Brunson on June 10, 2003; and several brothers and sisters. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II. Burnett, 103, of Amarillo died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church sanctuary with Chester O'Brien, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Mr. Burnett was born in Nobility in 1900. He married Ivory Ann Rogers in Roby in 1927 and moved to Amarillo. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a farmer, small business owner, home builder and paint contractor. He attributed his long life to love of God, hard work and old-fashioned moral values. He was a member of Buchanan Street Baptist Church for more than 50 years, where he faithfully served. The last 15 years, he was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was a retired senior deacon. He will be greatly missed by his 44-member family and friends. In 1999, H.A. Burnett received nationwide recognition as one of very few people who turned 99 on 9-9-1999. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1981; his parents; seven brothers and sisters; and a brother, R.C. Burnett, who lived in Amarillo. Survivors include two sons, Harold and wife, Betty, of Albuquerque, N.M., and Roy of San Antonio; a daughter, Janie Vincent and husband, Bill, of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Georgia St. Mr. Goetz was born in Chicago on Sept. 23, 1942. He married Rita Kaye Segal in Lubbock on Jan. 21, 1981. Throughout his entire life, he worked in the computer industry. From 1986 until his retirement in December 2002 he was employed with Corporate Systems as director of systems services. Mr. Goetz was a member of Westcliff Bible Church and Golden Spread Emmaus Community, where he participated in several walks. He will be dearly missed by family and friends who will continue to praise God for his life. He was looking forward to the birth of a grandchild and a great-grandchild. He was a grounds keeper for a while before starting to work as an auto mechanic for several years. He was preceded in death by his father on April 10, 1975. Mrs. Burns was born in San Joaquin County, Calif., and had lived her lifetime in Amarillo. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1964, and from floral school in 1965. Mrs. Burns owned and operated her own floral shop, Emagination, for 35 years. She was an active volunteer with her children's schools serving in the PTA and as PTA president. She also was involved in the booster club, band and cheerleading activities. She married Charles Burns on June 12, 1964, in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by two children, Wendy Dawn Burns in 1966 and Charles Henry Burns in 1967. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Ginger Diann Grant and husband, Todd, of Amarillo; a son, Steven Wade Burns of Amarillo; her parents, Wilma and Hervie Rogers of Amarillo; a brother, Dale Rogers and wife, Brenda, of Amarillo; and two grandchildren, Austin Taylor Burns and Bradford Wade Grant, both of Amarillo. Bell St. Mr. Mitchell was born to Charles W. Mitchell and Fannie Whiteley on Oct. 29, 1920, in Byers. He graduated from Kelton High School, and married Opal Jo Clay on June 13, 1943, in Pampa. He served in the Navy, was a veteran of World War II and was patriotic towards his country. Delbert was employed at Pantex for 32 years, up until the time of his death. He was a member of Central Church of Christ. He was a greatly beloved Christian, father, grandfather and servant of the Lord. He had served as an elder at North Seminole Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Delbert Mitchell on May 30, 1968. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sherion McCoy of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Gary Shane McCoy and wife, Sylvia, of Big Spring, Diana Massingill and husband, Johnny, of Canyon, Misty Sutton and Roman McCoy and wife, Melissa, all of Amarillo, and LV McCoy and wife, Nancy, of Childress; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
