Ross STRATFORD - Frank H. Ross, 88, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, in Edmond, Okla. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Matthews Funeral Home of Edmond. Mr. Ross was born June 19, 1915, in Willow, to Earl and Cora Ross. Frank was a longtime resident of Stratford, where he was a member of First Christian Church. He was a farmer who specialized in custom combining. He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 60 years, Emily, on June 1, 2003; his parents; and three brothers. Survivors include a son, Richard Ross and wife, Mary, of Edmond; three grandchildren, Steven Lee, Scott Lee and Shaun Ross; and four great-grandchildren, Steve, Jenna, Sevannah and Kara. She had lived in the Wheeler area since 1926 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Wheeler. She married Louis Vernon Sivage in 1921 in Morgan Mill. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 3, 1981. Mrs. Harris moved to Odessa three years ago from Friona where she had lived for many years. She was a homemaker. She married J.B. Taylor in 1944. He died Nov. 21, 1978. She then married Darrel Harris in 1981. He died Nov. 5, 2001. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Aaron Stowers, on May 23, 1994. He was born to Arthur Richard Norman and Lottie Allred on Sept. 9, 1915, in Deaf Smith County. He married his wife of 62 years, Margaret J. Fulton on May 24, 1941, in Tucumcari, N.M., and graduated from West Texas State College three days later. Earl worked 39 years for Southwestern Public Service. He retired in 1980 to spend his summers in Colorado and winters in Buchanan Dam, where he loved to fish. Earl was a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo and attended Buchanan West Baptist Church.
