Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Griswold officiating. Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home. Mr. Stewart was born Nov. 13, 1939, in Clayton, N.M. He married Gayle Ann Lemons in Clarendon on May 10, 1963. Don lived in Muleshoe from 1977 to 1987, moving from Texline. He moved from Muleshoe to Sudan in 1987, where he lived until 2002, when he moved to Randlett. He was a member of Randlett Senior Citizens. He retired after 20 years from the city of Lubbock water works, Bailey County Station. He was a pump maintenance worker. He was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 24, 1998; and a brother, Garland. Survivors include a son, Casey Stewart and and wife, Rhoda, of Paris; a daughter, Dondee Ann Brown and husband, Jay, of Randlett; two brothers, J.L. Stewart of Amarillo and Dwaine Stewart of Texline; a sister-in-law, Celesta Stewart of Hobbs, N.M.; a special friend, Parm Lee Grisham of Amarillo; several nieces and nephews; three grandchildren, Jaret Dee Brown, Justin Casey Brown and Crystal Duley; and four great-grandchildren, Skyla, Dakota, Preston and Alexis. The family suggests memorials be to Randlett Senior Citizens, in care of Jane Green, Randlett, OK 73562. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 11, 2003 Amarillo Donna Guy Donna Guy, 63, of Amarillo died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Second Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Guy graduated from Palo Duro High School in Amarillo in 1958. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Donna worked for many years at BSA Hospital. She loved her grandchildren very much and also her church family. Donna enjoyed bowling and fishing. Survivors include her husband, Teddy; a son, Richard Guy of Dallas; two daughters, Laurie Hall and husband, Gary, and Teddye Taylor and husband, Kiley, of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Brooke Hall and Beth Hall; two grandsons, Cameron Taylor and Bishop "Boo" Taylor; a brother, Don Ewing and wife, Pat; and many nieces and nephews. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 11, 2003 Juanita Abbott Juanita Abbott, 85, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Mrs. Abbott was born July 21, 1918, in Quinton, Okla., to Mack Fariell and Donna Bell White Fariell. The family moved from Oklahoma to Texas while Juanita was a young child. She married Hubert Eugene Abbott on April 7, 1941. She was a graduate of Amarillo High School. Juanita was a cashier for Furr Foods Inc. for 25 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of The Rock Church at 406 S. Pittsburg St. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Fewell; a son, Dan G. Abbott; seven grandchildren, Christy Osbourne of Texas, John David Abbott of Tennessee, Sierra Abbott, April Leigh Fewell and Tamara Flowers, all of Colorado, Kellie Tanglose of Virginia, and Barry Fewell of Florida; and seven great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 11, 2003 Lorene Burton Collard Lorene Burton Collard, 85, of Amarillo died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Wynn, associate minister of St. Stephen United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Collard was born Aug. 26, 1918, in Crawford. She moved to Amarillo from College Station in 1950. Lorene served as a docent for Amarillo Art Center and as a volunteer with Northwest Texas Hospital Auxiliary. She loved to play bridge and travel with her friends. She was a member of Bell Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, F.G. "Butch" Collard III of Amarillo and Alan Collard of Waco; a daughter, Linda Kay Butz of Dallas; two sisters, Irene Conner and Robbie Riggs, both of Waco; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 11, 2003 New Mexico Daniel Joshua Ressguie CLOVIS, N.M. - Daniel Joshua Ressguie, 45, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Muffley Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop W. Charles Green officiating. Mr. Resseguie was born June 22, 1958, in Modesto, Calif. He came to Clovis in 1995, and enjoyed listening to rock music and attending Texas Tech sports activities. Survivors include his caregivers and friends from his ENMRSH community home in Clovis. The family suggests memorials be to ENMRSH, 516 Ash St., Clovis, NM 88101. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 11, 2003 Dale B. Sutton LOGAN, N.M. - Dale B. Sutton, 77, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, in Logan. Graveside services will be at a later date in Wheatland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Mr. Sutton was born Aug. 20, 1926, in Clovis, to Ralph and Iva Brocharo Sutton. He attended schools in Wheatland and Tucumcari. Survivors include his wife, Jeannette; two daughters, Sherri of Altadona, Calif., and Sandi of Seeley Lake, Mont.; a son, Scott of Helena, Mont.; a stepson, Dale Van Duson of Phoenix; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Floy Slusher of Albuquerque and Shirley Ragan of Moses Lake, Wash. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing with the Rev. Ed Williamson and the Rev. Bobby Griffith officiating. Burial will be in McKnight Cemetery. Mrs. Latham was born Aug. 11, 1937, in Amarillo, to Thomas Harrison McBride and Margaret Atchley McBride. She had lived in Nacogdoches for 35 years and was a bookkeeper for Westridge Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was a member of Women of the Moose while living in Amarillo. Survivors include a son, Steven Holloway and wife, Glenda, of Nacogdoches; a daughter, Diann Williamson and husband, Wayne, of Cushing; her mother, Margaret Howard of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Joshua Williamson and wife, Melissa, Joseph Williamson, Sophia Holloway, Seleste Holloway and Stephany Holloway; and a great-grandchild, Tanlei Williamson. Pallbearers will be Jeff Barnhart, Dink McCormack, Kent Smith, Dennis Moore, Joshua Williamson and Joseph Williamson. The family suggests memorials be to Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund; or American Kidney Foundation. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
