Mr. Durham was born Oct. 10, 1970, in Tulia. He served in the Navy during Desert Storm. Survivors include three sisters, Donna L. Walz of Lubbock, Diana L. Wilhelm of Nazareth and Dena L. Nenstiel PAMPA - Ruth P. Nenstiel, 94, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmicahel-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Nenstiel was born Sept. 20, 1909, in Hutchinson, Kan. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1939, moving from Amarillo. She married Harvey Nenstiel on Sept. 20, 1930, in Topeka, Kan. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was very active in civic and community affairs. She was chosen Pampa's Woman of the Year in 1957. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Donna Ikard of Las Cruces, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Daniels was born June 1, 1951, in Dumas to Cecil and Mary Williams Daniels. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church in Higgins with the Rev. Nancy Moore, minister, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Zenor was born in Glazier. He lived in Higgins all his life. He married Cloie Sawyer in 1940 at Cheyenne, Okla. He served with the Navy Seabees in the Philippines during World War II. After the service, he purchased Champlin Service Station, which he owned and operated until 1957. He then became the manager of Higgins Wheat Growers. He owned Circle Z Feed in Higgins. He served as county commissioner for three terms from 1982-1994. Mr. Zenor was a member of the Higgins Masonic Lodge No. 820 AF & AM. He had served as master and been a member for more than 50 years. He was also a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Higgins. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2002; four brothers, Clell Zenor, WanE Zenor, Bill Zenor, Bob Zenor; and by his parents, W.R. and Wessie Zenor. Mr. Deaton graduated from Township Marion High School and married Florine Farris in Marion, Ill., on Oct. 23, 1949. He worked for Mason and Hanger in management for 48 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, square dacing, bridge and carpentry. He taught Sunday school for 20 years at Paramount Baptist Church. He was a member of Toastmasters and Washington Avenue Christian Church. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert L. Deaton, Ernest Parker Deaton and Horace W. Deaton. Mr. Grimes was born and raised in Creek County, Okla., and graduated from Bristow High School in Bristow, Okla. He was an alumnus of University of Oklahoma. He was a naval aviator in World War II and served two tours in the South Pacific. He married Nancy Slavin in 1949 in Kansas City, Mo. He moved to Amarillo in 1964 and had owned and operated Culligan of Amarillo ever since. He was still active with the company at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ava McMurray, Josephine Buntz and Lura Amelon. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Maureen Geiger of Amarillo and Virginia Kinzer of Burke, Va.; four sons, Tom Grimes, Andy Grimes and Dicky Grimes, all of Amarillo, and Paul Grimes of Katy; a sister, Izetta Grimes of Cushing, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Mr. Smith was born in Amarillo and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1979. He was involved in high school athletics including football, track, baseball and wrestling. He enlisted in the Army after graduating from high school and served for a year at Fort Hood and two years in Germany. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Smith Ramey; his father, Jimmy Ray Smith; and his grandparents, Garland and Winona Smith.
