Burial will be in Olton Memorial Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was born Aug. 26, 1912, in Crowell. She had lived in the Olton community since 1921. Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Sorley of Bovina and Barbara McFadden of Olton; a brother, Tom Perry of Palestine; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Burial will be at 2 p.m. today in West Park Cemetery in Hereford by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Estep, a retired serviceman for Tide Water Compression Service, loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Panhandle. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Kennedy and the Rev. Dr. Jeff Knighton officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Neufeld was born Sept. 3, 1908, to Molly Kate Clark Witt and A.C. Witt in Gail Borden County. Her family lived on a farm near Lamesa in Dawson County before moving to Perryton in the fall of 1912. She attended Perryton schools graduating in 1926. She attended one year of college at Southern Methodist University before her marriage to Clarence H. Neufeld on Aug. 17, 1930. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Perryton, where she taught Sunday school and played the piano for many years. She was a Cub Scout den mother and involved in all school activities as her son was growing up. She was a homemaker the majority of her life. At age 65 she began working with her husband at Plainview Hardware Co. She worked with him for the next 13 years until the store closed in November 1986. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 9, 1986; her parents; and a brother, Alton Witt. Survivors include a son, Don Neufeld and wife, Kaye, of Perryton; two grandsons, Christopher H. Neufeld and wife, Krystal, of Plano and Michael Don Neufeld, M.D. of Seattle; a brother, Willard Witt and wife, Juanita, of Amarillo; a sister-in-law, Ruth Davis of Denton; seven nieces; and five nephews. Mrs. Emert was born July 16, 1921, in Matador. She married Arlie Emert on March 5, 1939, in Matador and moved to Floydada the same year. She was a homemaker and loved quilting and jigsaw puzzles. She had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's Association since 1955. She loved gardening, traveling and art. She also enjoyed music and visiting with others. She was a loving wife and mother to her family. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Cummings loved the Lord and her family. She devoted herself to giving her talents by sewing, quilting, making crafts, painting, cooking and enjoying her family, who will miss her immensely. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sara Suzanne Shackelford. She was a Head Start, kindergarten and first grade teacher in Amarillo for 30 years. She worked several years at Wards in the jewelry department. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 36 years, was a life member of Texas State Teachers Association, NEA, Polk Street United Methodist Church and Delta Kappa Gamma. Survivors include her husband, Allen; a daughter, Jeanna Hembree and husband, Budd, of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Brian Herron of Amarillo; a sister, Jeanice Bartlett of Arlington; and two grandchildren, Cameron Davis and Sable Davis, both of Kemp.
