Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Episcopal Church with the Rev. John Watson, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Cora was born Sept. 10, 1921 in Roger Mills County, Okla., to John William and Mary Cecelia Olson Meyers. She had been a resident of Amarillo since 1925. She married Lt. Dale Herring during World War II and they had two children before he passed away. She later married Selbe Powell in 1953, and they had another child. Selbe passed away in 1997. She was employed by Amarillo College as a medical secretary for 11 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. She was also the secretary for the Lion's Club. She had been a resident of Craig Methodist Retirement Community since 1997. The family would like to send out a special thanks to Angie Raff of Crown of Texas Hospice for all of her help as well as all the staff of Craig Methodist Retirement Community for all their caring, thoughts and prayers. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Herring Powell Reinholt of Denver; and two sons, Barrie Alan Herring Powell and M. Kent Powell, both of Amarillo. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 3, 2003 Glen Lawson Glen Lawson, 74, of Amarillo died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in West Amarillo Christian Church with the Rev. Ron Kohler, pastor, officiating. Private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Lawson was born in Odessa. He had worked in sales for Dempster Industries for 17 years and ASCO in Lubbock and Amarillo for 21 years. He was a Mason and former member of Kiwanis. He was a member and elder for many years at West Amarillo Christian Church. He recently was honored as servant of the quarter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He married Ann Gallaway on Aug. 16, 1952, in San Antonio. He was preceded in death by two infant sons and a daughter, Patricia Ann Kirby. Survivors include his wife; a daughter Glenna Kay Moore and husband, Jim, of Amarillo; two sisters, Aline Saunders and Jessie Mae Allen, both of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Brandon, Blake and Nick Moore, Erick and Sunni Kirby; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lincoln Street Baptist Church with Rusty Hancock, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Loften was raised in Dalhart. She married Buddy Loften on March 26, 1962, in Clayton, N.M. Survivors include three sons, James Lee Clanton and Thomas Clanton, both of Amarillo, and Alvis Clanton of Dumas; two daughters, Vickie Ogden of Longview, and Terri Solis of Gruver; a brother, Jimmy Joe Bonham of Gruver; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. David Turvaville, pastor of Vinson Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Reynolds was born April 23, 1935, in Vinson, Okla., to Henry Reynolds and Una Chambless Reynolds. He married Jean Henry in 1956 in Dimmitt. Survivors include his wife; his mother of Mangum, Okla.; and three brothers, Kenneth Reynolds of Altus, Okla., Arlen Reynolds of Olustee, Okla., and Larry Reynolds of Mangum. Cremation was by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Toni Brown moved to Pampa in 1983 from Las Cruces, N.M. She worked in the blue print room at National Oil Well for 2 years and at United Medicorp as a bookkeeper. Survivors include three sons, Breland Scott of Portland, Ore., Bradley Scott and Tucker Brown, both of Pampa; her father, Walter Smith of Pampa; a sister, Teri Asher of Glenpool, Okla.; and a brother, Tommy Buster of Clever, Mo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Carl Novian, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Lemons worked for Northern Natural Gas, retiring in 1986. In 1962, he moved to Spearman from Skellytown, and he moved to Pampa in 1993. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Goetz of Belton; two sons, Bruce Lemons and Brad Lemons, both of Fort Worth; three brothers, Alton Lemons of Tulsa, Okla., Calvin Jones and Jim Jones; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mass will be at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with the Rev. Sotero Sena officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Muffley Funeral Home. Mrs. Marino married Joe D. Marino on Oct. 7, 1951, in Clovis. She worked as a cafeteria worker in the Clovis Municipal Schools. Survivors include a son, Ray of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Marissa Adella Marino of Clovis; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; four sisters, Cleo Castillo, Carolyn Griego, Julia Molina, Ramona Martinez, all of Clovis; and a brother, Henry Gallegos of Clovis.
