Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with Leland Lewis, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Parker was born June 3, 1920, in Coalton, Okla., to Guy and Pearl Morrow. She lived most of her life in Pampa and other Panhandle towns. She married Johnny Speegle on March 6, 1938, and they had two daughters and a son. She later married Winston Kendricks on Nov. 26, 1944, and they had one daughter. After Mr. Kendricks' death, she married Clarence Parker on June 25, 1967, who had three daughters and four sons from a previous marriage. Mrs. Parker worked in food service at Worley Hospital and Coronado Nursing Home. She was also a nanny for the Sidwell family children, a sitter for children in her home and a sitter for Calvary Baptist Church nursery. Children and everyone who knew her were blessed by her love for them. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting and working in the yard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a son; a grandson; a stepson; and a son-in-law, Jim F. Keough. Survivors include three daughters, Vivian Romines and husband, James, and Ruby Meek and husband, Phil, all of Pampa, and Peggy Chambers and husband, Richard, of Longview; five grandchildren, Tim Meek and wife, Elaine, of Wisconsin, Johnny Meek of Amarillo, Phyllis Latterell and husband, Wayne, of Minnesota, Chris Keough and wife, Lisa, and Jim Keough and wife, Robin, all of Pampa; eight great-grandchildren, Katelyn Meek of Wisconsin, Kayla Latterell, Laura Latterell and Nicole Latterell, all of Minnesota, Kristen Keough and Kira Keough, both of New York, Christopher Keough of Pampa and Michael Keough of Shawnee, Okla.; five sisters, Lillie Parker and husband, Johnny, and Inez Williams and husband, Dean, all of Borger, Virginia Chandler and husband, Jess, of Clarendon, Mildred Walker and husband, Cotton, of Colorado and Margaret Hawley and husband, Robert, of Mineola; a brother, Paul Morrow and wife, Barbara, of Pampa; six stepchildren, Clarence Junior Parker and wife, Lottie, Johnny Parker and wife, Lillie, and Carol Lewis, all of Borger, Eddie Parker and wife, Ann, of Amarillo, Bonnie Moore and husband, James, of Fritch and Shirley Anderson of Darrouzett; 21 stepgrandchildren; 33 step great-grandchildren; 17 step great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with Cliff Cooper and Dewayne Adams officiating. Burial will be in Grey Mule Cemetery by Myers-Long Funeral Directors. Mr. Merrell married Melba Jo Merrell on June 10, 1950, in Silverton. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Cooper of Murchison and Jayne Adams of Fort Worth; a brother, Jake Merrell of Quitaque; and two sisters, Jane Pigg and Betty Ruth Wood, both of Plainview; and six grandchildren. Darren Skinner officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery. Mrs. Roberson was born Feb. 25, 1900, in Deaf Smith County, the daughter of Joseph and Willie Bradly. She married J.P. "Dock" Roberson on Dec. 1, 1927, in Hereford. Mrs. Roberson was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hereford. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son; and a sister. Survivors include a daughter, Wilma Clark and husband, L.J., of Hereford; a daughter-in-law, Bobbie Roberson of Hereford; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home. Mrs. Whitefield had lived in Dickens County, and lived in Matador since 1960. She was a beautician and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, A.M. "Whitey"; two daughters, Brenda Elaine McNair of Allen and Janet Marie Whitefield of Spearman; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brunson married Juriel Clayton Hamilton in December 1929 in Silverton. She was a longtime member of Quitaque Church of Christ. Survivors include two brothers, James C. Woods and Carl Woods, both of Quitaque; a sister, Ruth Felps of Quitaque; a daughter, Betty Belt of Lockney; a son, Roland Hamilton of Quitaque; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Eddie Tubbs, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Stevenson was born May 7, 1908, in Moore County. She was a ceramic shop owner. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dumas. She worked at an airplane factory in World War II and was a bookkeeper at Gene Cline Motor Parts. She was a rock collector, doll collector and a garage saler. She was a lifetime area resident. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecilea Dean Davis in 1932; two sisters; two brothers and two nephews. Survivors include two nieces, DeAnne Eslick and Lola Starkey, both of Dumas; three great-nephews; and nine great-nieces. The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Mr. Dowd was born July 11, 1954, in Texarkana. He was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church. He worked as a salesman for Budget Car Sales. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Putman Dowd. Hughes St. Mrs. Nutter was born in Amarillo and was a longtime resident. She was a member of Polk Street Methodist Church and a volunteer Red Cross worker. Survivors include a daughter, Myrna Jane Leroy of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Jefferson W. Shorten and Oscar Shorten Sr., both of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
