Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Muller and the Rev. Terry Cosby officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs. Sanders was born June 18, 1932, in Ralston, Okla., the daughter of Francis and Dollie Williams. She married Ray Sanders on July 22, 1951, in Clovis, N.M. She was the office manager for Ray's Welding Supply Co. in Hereford since 1967 and was a member of Palo Duro Baptist Church in Wildorado. She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Williams; and a son, Larry Sanders. Survivors include her husband; a son, Ronny Sanders and wife, Kim, of Hereford; her mother of Amarillo; and a brother, Willard Williams and wife, Jerry, of Albuquerque, N.M. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 16, 2003 Daisy Mae Ables Wasson FRITCH - Daisy Mae Ables Wasson, 95, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, in Borger. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fritch Church of Christ with Richard Kasko officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Wasson left this world to join her Heavenly Father, husband, son and countless family and friends. She was born Jan. 1, 1908, to James W. and Tennie Ables in Delrose, Tenn. In 1931, she met John Add Wasson. They were married in Hollis, Okla. They were ranchers, working at the Waggoner Ranches in Texas and New Mexico. They had one son, James Add Wasson, born in 1938. The Wassons began their life-long work at the Sanford Ranch near Fritch in 1947. She loved working for the ranch and was a homemaker. Among her favorite pastimes were reading, cooking (especially her apple pies) and gardening. She was a member of TOPS and Fritch Church of Christ. She was known as a friend, a confidant and a godly servant to others. She was often considered a mother and grandmother to countless individuals who still claim her as their own. Children were adored and loved by Grandma Daisy. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Add Wasson; and her son, James Add Wasson. Survivors include a daughter-in-law and "son-in-law," Shirley and Kent Eagle; four grandchildren, Kim and John Huot, Jamey and Leslie Wasson, Shelly and Rusty Biggs and Charley Wasson; great-grandchildren, Dain Lee, Brooke Wasson, Lance Wasson and Rachel Biggs; and Kent's daughters and their families who she equally loved as if they were her own, Kay Lynn, Chris, Marlee and Taylor Clifford, Debbie, Eric, Megan and Luke Peterson and Kathy, Kyle, Seth and Tanner Whittenberg. He had worked at the V.A. Hospital. He was a veteran of the Army. Mr. Andrada was born Nov. 24, 1931, in Marlin to Dorothea Zepeda Andrada and Miguel Andrada. He served honorably with the Army during the Korean War. A Golden Gloves boxer known as "Spongey," Mr. Andrada was a state champion. He married Adele Juarez on July 19, 1952, in San Antonio. He worked for 32 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center retiring as supervisor/cook. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was beloved and will be missed by all. Survivors include his wife; a son, Johnney Andrada Jr.; two daughters, Christina Andrada and Franchesca Andrada; a brother, Edward Andrade Sr.; four sisters, Toni Holguin, Mary Alderete, Adele Martinez and Jenvea Alderete; a brother-in-law, Santiago Juarez; two grandsons, Oliver Arreola and Ray Andrada; a granddaughter, Keely Garnes; and many nieces and nephews. Lee and Mary Nancy Massey on Feb. 23, 1907, in Aledo. She moved to Amarillo in 1923 from Lakeview. She married Charles Swim Reed in 1925 in Amarillo. She was a homemaker and member of Bolton Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 17, 1975. Survivors include two sons, Eldon Reed and Charles K. "Ken" Reed, both of Amarillo; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He married Anna Sue Welch in 1946. She passed away in 1990. He later married Marian Casey on Sept. 30, 2000. He worked for Curry/Central Freight Lines for 33 years before he retired. He loved to fish and sell Christmas trees and pumpkins. He was also known as the jelly man for all gifts of homemade jelly. He served his country during World War II in the Army. He was a charter member of Amarillo Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife; and a granddaughter, Lucia. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Geary Ritchey and wife, Marguerite, of Silverthorne, Colo., and Alan Ritchey and wife, Linda, of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Betty Hansford and husband, Wayne, of De Soto; a stepson, Tommy W. She was the second child born to Ava and D.L. Shelton. The family moved to Amarillo in 1930 when D.L. Shelton accepted a job as office manager and accountant for Palo Duro Furniture Co. owned by Allen Early Sr. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1943 and from West Texas State University in 1957. She was a schoolteacher in Amarillo for 25 years and taught at Avondale, Glenwood and Sunrise elementary schools. She also taught for a year in Indiana. She loved teaching and she loved her students, whose nickname for her was "Cool Cat." She was a member of Church of Christ and was attending the San Jacinto congregation prior to the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Jack M. Dickinson who owned AAA Fence Co., Frank Cooley who was in Real Estate and Jim Wright who was principal of Perryton Elementary School; and a son, Tommy J. Dickinson of Woodland Park, Colo. Survivors include two sisters, Geneva Nicholson of Amarillo and Doris Merrick of Dallas; a daughter-in-law, Diane Dickinson of Woodland Park; three nephews; three great-nephews; and a great-niece.
