Mr. Rucker was born April 11, 1915, in Detroit. He married Ruby Gray on Sept. 13, 1986, in Olton. Survivors include two daughters, Delsa Burrows of Liberal, Kan., and Nelda Winn of Gruver; three stepdaughters, Betty Durham of Truth or Consequences, N.M., Peggy Lively of Vega and Joyce Smith of Olton; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Runningwater Draw Care Center, or a favorite charity. Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mrs. Hukill was born Oct. 13, 1912, in O'Brien. She married Judson Paul Hukill on Dec. 22, 1934, in Earth. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Wayland Dean of Winters and Dewey of Olton; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lynell Ratliff of Dunsmuir, Calif. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Jenkins had been a lifelong resident of Miami and Roberts County. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Miami. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Gordon of Miami; a son, Donald Jenkins of Miami; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 20, 2003 Frances "Fannie" Sparks Venneman SPEARMAN - Frances "Fannie" Sparks Venneman, 91, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Guillermo Morales officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Venneman was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was one of 12 children. She married John Venneman on April 23, 1941. She graduated from Spearman High School and attended college in Greeley, Colo. She graduated from West Texas State Teacher's College. She taught fourth grade in Hitchland and Spearman. She and her husband lived on their farm 20 miles northwest of Spearman. She also lived in Amarillo while her children attended Catholic schools. She and Johnny loved their children and grandchildren and instilled in them a great sense of family. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987; and her parents, J.G.B. and Lizzie Douglas Sparks. Survivors include a son, Joe T. Venneman, and wife, Linda, of Gruver; two daughters, Hattie Marie Davis of Hooker, Okla., and Mary Elizabeth Venneman of Spearman; three grandsons, Klint Venneman of Spearman, Mark Davis of Hooker, Okla., and Micah Davis of Weatherford, Okla.; three granddaughters, Holly Gifford of Amarillo, Kim Cooper of Dallas and Kaley Martens of Weatherford; and three great-grandchildren, Morgan and Kennedy Venneman and Gus Gifford. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 20, 2003 Billy LeRoy Moore Billy LeRoy Moore, 72, of Amarillo died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003. Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Arrangements were by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 Osage St. Mr. Moore was born in Deaf Smith County. He graduated high school in Hereford and attended college at West Texas State University. He married Annie Dukes in 1954 in Friona. They moved to Amarillo from Deaf Smith County in 1957. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion and V.F.W. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Terri Lynn Robertson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a son, Craig LeRoy Moore of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Brett Hamilton and Megan Aubry Robertson, both of Colorado Springs, Chase Rhyan Moore of Richardson and Tessa Ann and Jessica Taylor Moore, both of Canyon; and three sisters, Pauline Myers and Ruth Dygert, both of Midland, and Wilma Lehman of Shidler, Okla. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 20, 2003 Edna Leona Vogler Binkley CLEMMONS, N.C. - Edna Leona Vogler Binkley, 88, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, in Amarillo, Texas. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Warner's Chapel Church of Christ. Burial will be in the church cemetery by Voglers Funeral Home of Winston-Salem. Mrs. Binkley was born March 19, 1915, in Forsyth County. She was the oldest of the five children of Esker Ernest and Della Blanch Ketner Vogler. She married William Thomas Binkley on April 8, 1939. She graduated from Clemmons High School in 1932. For several years she worked at PH Hanes Knitting Co. and retired from Winston-Salem and Forsyth County school cafeterias after 27 years of service. She was a member of Warner's Chapel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Ruth Gabard; and a brother, Frank Vogler. Survivors include a son, Thomas "Tom" E. Binkley and wife, Linda, of Cogan Station, Pa.; two daughters, Lydia B. Wright and husband, David, of Clemmons and Leona B.
