Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in West College and Third Church of Christ with Frank Duckworth officiating. Arrangements are by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born July 15, 1940, in Winters, to the late Loise and Ilene Shuffield Williams. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken and Providence. He married Frances Kay Golden on July 30, 1960, in Lockney. He was a farmer and rancher and loved showing cattle with his grandchildren. He was past director of American Angus Association, a Texas Junior Angus sponsor and a member of Lockney School Board. He was a deacon of West College and Third Church of Christ in Lockney, a member of Church of Christ in Ruidoso, N.M., and recently attended 11th and Amarillo Church of Christ in Plainview. He was preceded in death by his wife Dec. 14, 2001; and a brother, Kenneth Williams. Survivors include two sons, Ty Taylor Williams and wife, Nikolyn, and Matthew Dale Williams and wife, Jean Anne, all of Lockney; a daughter, Libby Williams Coody and husband, J.R., of Seymour; a brother, Luther Williams of Colleyville; a sister, Peggy Williams Cline of Dimmitt; and four grandchildren, Brazos Taylor Williams, Tylee Jo Williams, Sunny Jean Williams and Dixie Kay Williams. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home. Mrs. Barrett was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Burley, Idaho. She married Stan Barrett on Sept. 1, 1941, in Pocatello, Idaho. Survivors include two daughters, Pat King and Lynne Box, both of Muleshoe; a sister, Darlene Farmer of Red Bluff, Calif.; two brothers, Bill Platts of Boise, Idaho, and Bob Platts of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Taylor was born Nov. 7, 1915, in Harper County. She married Silas Doyle Taylor on Feb. 3, 1936, in Beaver. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Young married Patty Tidwell on April 10, 1999, in Grants, N.M. He graduated from Amarillo High School and attended West Texas State University. Mr. Young was employed at Wal-Mart, store no. 755, from 1985 to 1998, then worked at Hastings from 1998 to 2001. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Anthony Craig Young III and Thomas Lee Young; a daughter, Sydnie Young; his parents, Anthony Craig and Pamela Elaine Young, both of Phoenix; and his grandmother, Katherine Maxine McFall of Amarillo.
