Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Church of Christ with Charlie Kymes officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Reed was born April 13, 1917, in Harmony, Ark. She married Van L. Reed on Nov. 24, 1938. Survivors include a son, Larry Reed of Houston; a daughter, Marcia Hendon; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Family visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Amarillo with John Elser, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn- Shaw Funeral Directors, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mr. Euler was born Jan. 6, 1902, in Santa Fe, N.M. He lived most of his adult life in Santa Fe, moving to the Amarillo area in 1996. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 1989, and his eldest son, Ray, in 2003. Survivors include a daughter, Alice Whelchel of Amarillo; a son, Eugene Euler of Aztec, N.M.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amarillo Globe-News, Dec. 7, 2003 William Robert Provence PAMPA - William Robert Provence, 61, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church of the Salvation Army with Capt. Gary Steward, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Provence was born June 19, 1942, in Foreman, Ark. He was a Pampa resident most of his life and worked as a roughneck in the oilfield industry. Survivors include three stepsons, Robert Swanson of Skellytown, Bobby Swanson of New Mexico and Billy Swanson of Amarillo; a brother, Leonard Provence of Avant, Okla.; and a sister, Marie Gonzalez of Pampa. He lived in Sanford for 51 years and was a member of the Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge. He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Elaine; a son, Ronald Sims of Waxahachie; two daughters, Cathy Decker of Anchorage, Alaska, and Susan Grimes of Altus, Okla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Christopher Lance Puckett of Pampa; two sisters, Sharon L. Thompson of Evant and Naomi Hulme of Plano; and her mother, Mary Ida Puckett of Pampa. Georgia St. Mr. Graham was born May 26, 1941, in Hamlin. He moved to Amarillo in 1947. He joined the Marine Corps in 1960 and served for four years. He worked for Furrs Grocery as a meat cutter for more than 30 years. Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda Johnson, Donnett Wilson and Shawndell Perez, all of Amarillo; a sister, Dorothy Cossabone of Amarillo; two brothers, S.T. Graham and David D. Mrs. Roberson was retired from Mead's Bakery after 18 years. She was a wonderful and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.V. Roberson, and two daughters, Dorothy O'Neal and Thelma Grueter. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Franks of Amarillo; a son, David Roberson of Amarillo; a sister, Ruth Boston of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Van Dyke served his country in World War II in the Army. He was a former owner of Van Dyke's Bar-B-Q in Amarillo. Survivors include a son, Michael Van Dyke of Amarillo; a daughter, Patsy Ann of Bentonville, Ark.; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. "Bob" McPherson, 73, of Amarillo died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003. Burial was in Hansford Cemetery, by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. McPherson was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Caddo County, Okla. He was a farm laborer in the Spearman and Dalhart area for several years and was a veteran of the Army. Survivors include two brothers in Oklahoma and special friends, J.P. Davis of Amarillo and Irvin Davis of Spearman. Hughes St. Mrs. Tinner was born in Terrell and was a long-time Amarillo resident. She was a member of the Church of the Living God. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include eight daughters, four sons, one brother, 42 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren. The family will be at 3008 Angelus Drive. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Brown and the Rev. Jim Fox officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery, by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Carlock was born in Little Rock, Ark. He graduated from Hayti High School in Hayti, Mo., and Southeast Missouri State University. He served in the Air Force for 25 years before retiring in 1983. He served three tours in Vietnam. He married Wanda Thurmon in 1974 in Canyon and was a resident of Amarillo since 1983. He worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital in Amarillo for 10 years. He was a life member of VFW Post 1475, where he served as commander, senior vice commander and chaplain. Survivors include his wife; two sons, David Thurmon of Amarillo and Randall Matheny of Missouri; five daughters, Leslie Johnson and Connie Thurmon, both of Amarillo, Sara Smith of California, Brandi Strom of Minnesota and Lisa Bourque of Washington; a sister, Cassandra Herman of Rolla, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Savannah United Methodist Church in Savannah, Mo., with Richard Piper, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery by Muffley Funeral Home Inc. Mr. Ent was born Aug. 21, 1934, in Savannah. He served two years active duty in the Navy and 32 years in the Naval Reserve. Survivors include his wife, Katheryn; two sons, Lloyd Boatright and Mark Boatright, both of Savannah; a daughter, Cherie Ent of Liberty, Mo.; a sister, Yvonne Schluter of Las Cruces; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Janak was the daughter of the late Emil and Lila Myers, former owners of Myers Music Mart and Myers Drumstick Restaurant in Amarillo. Survivors include a son, James, and a daughter, Joni.
