Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel in Amarillo, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Schuyler was born in Amarillo on Dec. 8, 1988, to Christee Lyn Allison and Jesse Abram Henninger. He was the apple of his Memaw's eye and was the sidekick of his Memaw and his Joe during their travels over the past 13 years. From the age of 4, Sky could navigate by the map and was the trip navigator, calculating mileages and estimating arrival times to various points along the route. One memorable trip was was a driving trip to Alaska by way of Glacier National Park and the Canadian Rockies and up to the Alcan Highway to Anchorage with Joe. Memaw met them in Anchorage and the three experienced glaciers, grizzlies, caribou and moose. It was there that Sky's love and admiration of polar bears began, after seeing a stuffed specimen at the visitor center in Tok, Alaska. On their return trip they stopped at the famous Tyrrell Museum in Alberta, where Schuyler was the first person to walk through the Burgess Shale Exibit. He was a freshman student at Paschal High School in Fort Worth. Before moving to Fort Worth in 2000, he attended school at Olsen Park and Paramount Terrace elementary schools. Sky was a loving and devoted brother to his two younger sisters, Emerald and Alexandra. He will be remembered for his courage, sense of humor and love of ice cream. Sky had the incredible gift of being able to flourish in any situation, and although he had a large circle of friends, the most special people in his life (aside from his family) were his beloved, Joe Cepeda, Aubrey Wertz and best friend, Ben Christa. She and her older brother, Schuyler, who preceded her in death, were kindred spirits and devoted to each other's welfare. She was the peacemaker of her family and loved everyone and everyone loved her. Josh read stories to Em in her early years, and just to see if she was really listening, he would add something outlandish to embellish the story. She would catch it and soon this became a "secret message" between them as they both would add small embellishments to see if the other was really listening. Em loved to draw and paint with her father Tim. He once taught her to draw a sunflower, which she loved to draw for her mom.
