Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Garrett of First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Williams was born in Moran on June 7, 1914. When she was a year old, she traveled by covered wagon with her parents, Grace Sullivan Green and James Levi Green to homestead in Villegreen, Colo. She graduated from Kim High School in Kim, Colo. The Villegreen post office was later named for her father. She married Harry Raines Lewis on April 11, 1931, in La Junta, Colo. She ranched and farmed throughout the Kim area until 1945, when she moved to Amarillo. She was a design florist for Freeman Flowers for several years. She also was a designer for Ted Freeman Florist and Ernest Logan Flowers. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shirley Mae Lewis Parks in 1992; three sisters, Lillian Green, Marjorie Green Munger Miller and Rubye Green Culpepper; and three brothers, Michael, Glen and Leslie Green. Survivors include a daughter, Jerre Lynn Lewis Curtis and husband, Stephen, of Amarillo; her granddaughters, Chancy Lee Curtis West and husband, Stuart Brooks, of Amarillo, Gretchen Grace Parks of Warren, Mich., and Shannan Lynn Curtis O'Brien and husband, John Blake, of Amarillo; a grandson, Charles Robert Parks of Simi Valley, Calif.; five great-granddaughters, Madison Brooks West, Peyton Lee West, Sadie Grace West, Mary Raine O'Brien and Kieran Teel O'Brien. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at 3025 N. Vernon St. in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Link was born in San Antonio. He lived in Amarillo most of his life and worked as a diesel mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Link, in March 2002, and by his grandmother, Beatrice Link on Dec. 18, 2003. Amarillo Globe-News, Jan. 3, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul D. Blandford Paul D. Blandford, 61, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Paramount Terrace Christian Church with the Rev. Mark Zimmerman officiating. Mr. Blandford was born in Shamrock and moved to Amarillo when he was 8 years old. He attended Amarillo High School and then served his apprenticeship with W.T. Cooke Paint contractor before starting Blandford Paint Co. in 1971. He was well known for his extraordinary creative talents in the paint industry. Mr. Blandford was considered to be one of the first to help introduce faux finishes and special techniques into the Amarillo community. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed life each and every day to its fullest. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Mr. Blandford was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Zoella Blandford, and one brother, Sam Blandford. Survivors include two daughters, Mistie Blandford Allison of Amarillo and Janet Blandford Claudio of Dripping Springs; one stepdaughter, Shelly McGee of Amarillo; one sister, Janiece Key of Bushland; three grandchildren, Eric, Jessica and Maggie; his girlfriend, Sherie Golden, and her children, Sean and Summer; eight nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Kemp was born July 5, 1932, in Gatesville to Charlie and Velma Kemp. He married Brenda McGavock in Juarez, Mexico, in 1972. Mr. Kemp owned and operated Kemp Supply Company in Hereford for more than 40 years and was still active in the business. He was a veteran, having served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Marc Kemp of Gatesville and Thomas Kemp and wife, Donna, of Hereford; two daughters, Catherine Kemp of Edgewood, N.M., and Stacy Kemp of Houston; one brother, Charles Kemp of Richardson; one sister, Mava Northcutt of Clovis, N.M.; six grandchildren; and a special dog, Mabel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Bryan Knowles, pastor of Community Fellowship Church, and the Rev. Jose Palathera, priest at St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery. Mrs. Bell was born May 12, 1923, in Clarendon and was a lifetime resident. She married Shelby C. Bell on May 9, 1943, in Amarillo. She spent a lifetime touching almost every life in Clarendon through her medical career as an licensed vocational nurse, registered laboratory technologist and X-ray technician with the Adair Hospital and Gilkey Clinic in Clarendon. She was always there when she was needed to comfort and care for those in need. Mrs. Bell was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. The saddest day for Betty was the day she had to leave Clarendon, the town and home she loved so much and all her lifelong friends. She never forgot any of them. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Stephen Bell. Survivors include four sons, Shelby Bell and wife, Andrea, Robert Bell and wife, Sharon, Jack Bell and wife, Carol, all of Lubbock, and Richard Bell and wife, Judy, of The Woodlands; one sister, Agnes Heironimus of Enid, Okla.; and eight grandchildren, Chris, Tim, Nathan, Jennifer, Michael, Robert, Brittany and Ryan. Mrs. Carey was born on April 30, 1918, in Pampa, Texas, to Doshia and Henry Anderson. She married Marion B. Carey Aug. 22, 1937, and they were married 64 years until his death.
