Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Link was born in San Antonio. He lived in Amarillo most of his life and worked as a diesel mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Link, in March 2002, and by his grandmother, Beatrice Link on Dec. 18, 2003. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Ann Link of Abilene; two sons, Ricky Link and Robby Link, both of Abilene; one sister, Renee' Cristner, of Abilene; a grandfather, Leslie Link of Amarillo; a stepmother, Shirley Link of Amarillo; one stepsister, Angie Melton of Amarillo; three stepbrothers, Glen Johnson, Barry Johnson and Chad Johnson, all of Amarillo; by his dear friend and companion, Teresa Johnson; and many aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in Trinity Fellowship Church North Auditorium with John Love, pastor, officiating. Private family burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Phillips was born May 11, 1931, to W.L. and Ruby Phillips in Belton. He was a longtime resident of Amarillo, attending Amarillo schools. He married Joyce Kale on Dec. 23, 1950, in Clovis, N.M. He was employed in the trucking industry most of his life, retiring from Roadway Express. He was an active member of Trinity Fellowship Church. His quiet, gentle spirit was a blessing to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy Phillips and Rick Phillips and wife, Karen, all of Amarillo; three brothers, James Phillips of Millington, Tenn. and Billy Phillips and Eddy Phillips, both of Lubbock; six grandchildren and spouses, Kale and Amy Phillips, Katie and Nate Ham, Shelby Phillips, Casey Phillips and Rachel and John McKee, all of Amarillo and Courtney and Bill Kendall of Canyon; and one great-grandson, Jud, of Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Schooler-Gordon Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St., with the Rev. Buff Hearn, Kingswood United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts married Jimmie Roberts in 1967 and they were married for 33 years. She was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband in December 2000; an infant son, Brad Folsom; and two sons, David Roberts and Kenny Roberts. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Parish of Amarillo; two sons, Bobby Folsom and wife, Rita, of Amarillo and Gary Roberts and wife, Debbie, of Fritch; her mother, Arlie Carlile of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Panhandle Cemetery in Panhandle. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Johnson was born June 20, 1941, in Vernon. He attended Palo Duro High School and graduated with the "Class of 1959." He married Judy Meaker in 1959 in Amarillo. He joined the Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a sheet metal worker for his entire career and retired in 2000. He was a member of Sheet Metal Local No. 67 in Austin. He was preceded in death by a son, Neal Wayne Johnson. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carrie Johnson of Amarillo; two sons, Guy Johnson and Craig Johnson, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Francis Crow of Orange and Wanda Hites of Amarillo; and six grandchildren, Heather Garms, Joshua Garms, Amber Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Nicholas Foster and Carter Johnson, all of Amarillo. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born March 24, 1922, in Chillicothe to T.M. Thurmon and Trudy Bond Thurmon. She attended Plainview Schools until her senior year before graduating from Littlefield High School. She received her degree in cosmetology from San Jacinto School of Cosmetology in Amarillo. She was a Canyon resident since 1946, known and loved by many. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cameron Davis in 1992; and her husband, K.E. Davis in 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony D. Sismore officiating. Burial will be in Floyd County Memorial Park by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mrs. Rucker was born March 11, 1925, in Warrington, England to John and Jeanne Davidson. She married Ralph Rucker on Jan. 8, 1944, in Warrington and they were five days from their 60th wedding anniversary. She arrived in America on March 9, 1944, in Boston and received her citizenship on Jan. 31, 1952. She moved to Floydada in October 1951 and to Amarillo in March 2003. She was a bookkeeper at Ruckers OK Tire Store. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and Sunday School and a former member of Rebekahs and Cosmopolitan Club. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, reading, sewing and her Sunday School family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jack Davidson; three sisters, Maggie Radley, Nancy Lunn and Jean Hay; and a grandson, Sean Rucker. Survivors include her husband; three children, Max Rucker and wife, Cheryl, of Amarillo, Linda Woodall and husband, Woody, of Clovis, N.M. and Patrick Rucker and wife, Kathy, of Amarillo; a sister, Sis Topham of Appleton Cheshire, England; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. "Pete" Roberts, 83, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Roberts fought during World War II in the Air Corps as a master sergeant. He worked for the city of Borger as a supervisor for 19 years. Survivors include his wife, Mamie Lee Roberts; two daughters, Joyce Ann Wiles of Round Rock and Jeannie Ross of Borger; six grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. She retired from Pampa Independent School District. Mr. Leach was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Belleview. He was a veteran of World War II. He had been a rancher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dessie in 1971; and by a son, Nolan Terrill in 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Crenshaw of Antioch, Calif.; two brothers, Wallace Leach of Gallup and Ernest Leach of Portales; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Wanetta; three sons, Jimmie Roger Perkins of Dodge City, Kan., Jerry K. Perkins of Nashville, Tenn. and Gilbert Leroy Perkins of Gate; a daughter, Jetta Jo "Jody" Paine of Gate; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
