Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Sivily lived in Amarillo in the late 1960s. She moved to Oklahoma City in the 1970s where she worked as a stenographer for more than 15 years. She was a member of Baptist Temple Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Sivily, in 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Claudia Stapleton of Amarillo; a son, Joe Adrian Sivily of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Winfield Johnson of California, Robert Carl Johnson of Richardson and Phillip Johnson of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Bonita Mackey of Wellston, Okla., Becky Megehee of Mustang, Okla. and Peggy Porter of Kansas; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, Georgia Manor Nursing Home or the National Parkinson Foundation. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Custer, of Arden Road Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Roach graduated from Amarillo High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the Army. He married Lucretia Rieckert on Oct. 4, 1977, in Las Vegas. He was a retired insurance salesman. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and collecting trucks and knives. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Carnes in 1971; his father, Willie Roach in 1989; and a stepdaughter, Kay Lee in 1996. Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, James Kelly of Spiro, Okla. and Michael Kelly of Muleshoe; a sister, Charlotte Dunn of Amarillo; his mother, Annie Roach of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Cheyenne Kelly and Samantha Kelly of Amarillo and Caleb Lee of Illinois; and 10 nieces and nephews. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Monday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel with the Rev. Ken Keller of Crown of Texas Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Barrera was born in San Antonio. He moved to Amarillo in 1938 from San Antonio. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and worked in construction for many years. He married Sophia Garcia in 1948 in Amarillo. He was a Catholic. Mr. Barrera loved his family and friends. He also enjoyed riding with the railroad man, Rudy. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Susie Candelaria and Carolyn Rodriguez, both of Amarillo; four sons, Pat Barrera of Corpus Christi, and Rudy Barrera, Tim Barrera and Steve Barrera, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Rose Gloria of Los Angeles and Isabel Duran of Riverside, Calif.; four brothers, Paul Barrera of Lancaster, Calif., Richard Barrera of Vacaville, Calif., Jimmy Barrera of Los Angeles and Primo Barrera of Woodland, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Memory Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Alan Williamson, of Ware Living Center, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Bassett was born and raised in Amarillo with one of the pioneer families. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1953 and attended West Texas State College and University of Texas at Austin. He explored life in a variety of occupations before becoming disabled from dystonia. He was a gifted musician and gourmet chef. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, LaNelle Winn and husband, Cecil, of Denton; a nephew, Gregory W. Winn of Denver; and three nieces, Cecelia J. Gordon and husband, Jim, of San Antonio, Sharon G. Winn of Denton and Nicci Winn of Austin. Mrs. Kirk was born Sept. 4, 1916, in Osage County, Okla. She had lived in the area since 1942, moving from Phillips. She married C.W. "Jake" Kirk on Oct. 10, 1936, in Spearman. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Stinnett. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. Monday in Friona Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Rhodes, pastor of First Baptist Church in Dimmitt, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home. Mr. Wilson was born Feb. 14, 1922, in LaJunta, Colo., to Aubert and Emily Sparman Wilson. He lived in the Friona area most of his life, farming and working for Holly Sugar and area feedyards. He had lived in Wheeler for the past 16 years where he was a member of Wheeler Lions Club and American Legion. He was a Methodist and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Kuntz and husband, Charles, of Wheeler and Debra Murray and husband, Greg, of Butler, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Bray of Shawnee, Okla., and Leota Cranfil of Amarillo; a brother, Leroy Wilson of Amarillo; and six grandchildren, Darin, James, Janet, Amy, Rebecca and Bryant. He was active in bull riding. Georgia St. Mrs. Davis married Joe Davis in New Mexico on Dec. 26, 1951. She was a waitress all of her life in Groom. She owned the Sportsman Cafe in Groom for a number of years. She was especially loved by all of her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 16, 1995; her parents, Harris and Ona Barnett; and a sister, Verna Bell Elliott. Survivors include two sisters, LaVesta Barnett and Charleen Weller, both of Groom; a brother, Jack Barnett of Groom; and numerous nieces and nephews.
