Caddell Joseph F. Caddell, 81, of Amarillo died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Brian Hesse, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery with military rites by Altus Blue Knight Honor Guard from Altus Air Force Base, Altus, Okla. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Caddell was born July 7, 1922, in Eunice, N.M., to Osie and Sara Caddell. He was retired from the Air Force, having served in World War II and the Korean conflict. He later worked as a transportation supervisor for Pantex. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He married Lorelle Cole on June 1, 1946, in San Antonio. She preceded him in death in 1997. He later married Caroline Wisker in Amarillo on Nov. 23, 2001, and she preceded him in death in 2003. Survivors include three daughters, Debra Hackett of Amarillo, Karel Bennett of Midland and Rita Steiner of Palmer; two sons, Loren Caddell of Amarillo and Marvin Caddell of Freetown, Mass.; two stepdaughters, Carol Echternach of Hastings, Neb., and Marge Focken of Bassett, Neb.; a stepson, Hal Wisker of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren. "Clint" Bullard, 84, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Troy Richardson of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Mr. Bullard played football and graduated from Slaton High School in 1939. He started working for Santa Fe Railroad soon after graduation in 1939. He served two years in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Bullard moved to Amarillo after the war. He retired as a conductor from Santa Fe Railroad in 1985 after 46 years of employment. Mrs. Ferguson was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Seminole County, Okla., to John and Lillian Swick Robertson. She worked at Irwin Greenhouse until her retirement in 1986. She then worked for the Department of Human Services for two years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was active in Bethel and Calvary Baptist churches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil in 1985; and a son, Kenneth in 1970. Burial was at 3:30 p.m. in Babyland at Resthaven Memorial Park by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. God gave us our precious Rylee on Dec. 20, 2002. He was a light and joy to our family and touched the heart of every person he met. Rylee loved to share his toys and the family wishes to continue his love of fun by donating toys to enrich the lives of other children. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, J.G. Anderson of Spade and Albert Hayes of Lockney; and his great-grandmother, Glenn Walser of Hereford. Riley in Fort Sumner, N.M., on Jan. 17, 1930. She had lived in Wheeler since 1980. Mrs. Callaway worked as a health care provider for many years. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a special friend, Jim Martin of Wheeler. Mrs. Randolph was born May 26, 1947, in Plainview. She was a Dumas resident since 1954. She was a member of First Street Church of Christ in Dumas. She married Charles O. Randolph on April 30, 1965, in Dumas. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and she loved to cook for her friends and family. She was a hairdresser. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996, and her parents. Amarillo Globe-News, Jan. 21, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oma Harbert DALHART - Oma Harbert, 88, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, in Hartley. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hartley Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. John W. Bookout of Hartley and the Rev. Gene Amerson of Dennison officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Channing Cemetery in Channing by Horizon Funeral Home. Mrs. Harbert was the first born of Oscar and Florence Emanuel, working in the oil fields of north Texas. Later her family moved to Arkansas, southern Oklahoma and finally to Channing during the "Dirty Thirtys." This area remained her home for her lifetime. Oma and Wesley Harbert were married on Dec. 9, 1939. They moved to a small farm south of Hartley in 1940, purchased from Clarence and Edna Horning, and in 1959, they bought the Goldie Thomas Ranch near Channing. During those years they made many friends in the Hartley and Channing areas, and were active in school, church and community functions. During her lifetime, Oma suffered the loss of her brother, Oland Emanuel, in the Pacific during World War II; the loss of her mother who was a resident of Dalhart; her father who was then living in Timpson; and finally her sister, Oleta Bridgman of Ringling, Okla. Oma was born to care and ended this life as a caregiver. With a heart of compassion, she was quick to provide for those who were handicapped and in need. Her home was a "home away from home" for many through the years. Her memory of names, places and events stretched through all of history in infinite detail. May we remember her well. Sis has a new home. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and a sister. Survivors include her husband; a son, Norman and wife, Brenda, of Amarillo; two daughters, Euva Skiles and husband, Arnold, of Amarillo and Euna Joseph and husband, Warren, of Mandeville, La.; seven grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Medford was born Oct. 29, 1915, in Paducah, Texas. She lived a full life and left heart prints on everybody she met. Mrs. Walker was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Bismark, Ark., to Henry and Nettie (Allen) Orr. Mrs. Walker, previously of Amarillo, was active in the Amarillo Baptist Church and Amarillo Antique Club. She spent her life dedicated to her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Doyle Walker Sr.; a sister, Vera Bradfield; and two brothers, Louis Orr and Woodrow Orr.
