Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Loran Harper, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Fletcher was born in El Campo. He moved to Amarillo in 1978. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union. He was a Texas peace officer and deputy for the Potter County Sheriff's Department. Most recently he worked as a security police officer and alternate telecommunications sergeant at Pantex. He married Tammy Fry in 1979 at Amarillo. He was a deacon at Comanche Trail Church of Christ. He and his wife have been house parents for the Children's Emergency Home of Amarillo for six and a half years. They worked for Child Protective Services and were members of Foster Parents Association of Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Tiffany Star Fletcher of Amarillo; a son, Beau Jared Fletcher and wife, Shara, of Amarillo; his mother, Norma Green of Pulaski, Tenn.; his father and step-mother, J.N. Fletcher Sr. and Darlene Fletcher of Roaring Springs; his grandmother, Nadine Redd of Kingsland; three sisters, Kim Fletcher of Roaring Springs, Laurie Dunlap of Bay City, and Darla McNeil of Lubbock. She and her husband, Ronald, were co-owners of Amarillo Dental Lab for 23 years before retiring. Shirley loved animals. She attended Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 25, 2003. He married Mickey Roselius on Feb. 23, 1976, in Reno, Nev. Mr. Arrance had worked as a truck driver for International Transport and other trucking lines. He was a Methodist. "Barney" Powell, 82, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004. Mr. Powell was born in Memphis and lived in Amarillo for 50 years. He retired from the Texas Employment Commission after 29 years. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He was a member of Scottish Rite and San Jacinto Masonic Lodge No. 1330. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Powell. Survivors include his wife, Sandy; three stepsons, Neal Taylor, Jeff Taylor and Jason Taylor, all of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Gwendolyn White of Amarillo; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Ed Sprouse of New Mexico. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Reynolds of Los Angeles; her favorite cousins, Harlow Sprouse of Amarillo and Dixie Lou Young of Borger; and many much loved and appreciated friends, helpers and acquaintances, from all walks of life. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Tascosa Road Fellowship with Jay Roberson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Crafton was born in Arkansas and lived in Amarillo for many years. He married Nadine Hill on June 29, 1951, in Amarillo. He was a veteran of the Army and served in Germany. He was an electrician in the Amarillo area for many years and was a member of IBEW. He owned and operated Tex's Auto Sales in Amarillo since 1969 and worked as an auctioneer. He was a member of Tascosa Road Fellowship Church. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 731, and Khiva Shrine Temple, where he served as president of the Drum and Bugle Corp. in 1979. Mr. Crafton was a reserve deputy for the Potter County Sheriff's Department under T.L. Baker. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Crafton in 1999, and a sister, Eunice Gillim in 2002. Survivors include his wife; a son, Mike Crafton of Dumas; a brother, C.W. Crafton Jr. of Victoria; two sisters, Chrystella Smith and Louise Calhoun, both of Amarillo; two grandsons, Shane Crafton of Amarillo and Matthew Crafton of Dumas; and two great-grandsons, Connor Crafton and Paul Maes, both of Amarillo. Mrs. Wright was born June 12, 1959, in Fort Dix, N.J. Danice grew up in a military family living various places around the world including Bangkok, Thailand. She graduated from Killeen High School in 1977. She received her BS degree from Texas A&M in 1981 with outstanding recognition in the Parks and Recreation Department. She received her teaching certificate from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview in 1989. She taught a year in Hart Independent School District and taught at Olsen Park Elementary in Amarillo from 1990 until December 2003. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the hand bell choir and served on many boards. She married Jim Wright on April 3, 1982, in College Station. Survivors include her husband; a son, Cliff Wright of Dimmitt; a daughter, Jinna Wright of Dimmitt; her parents, Dan and Shirley Davis of Lago Vista; two brothers, Darrell Davis and wife, Peggy, of Fairfax Station, Va., and Don Davis of Bryan; and several nieces and nephews. He was a longtime resident of Parmer County. He moved to Lubbock in 1995 from Indiana, where he had lived since 1983. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond Schueler in 1990 and Norbert Schueler in 1997; and a sister, Elenor Meissner in 1974.
