Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Dale Meadows, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger. Mr. Horst was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Madison, Kan. He married Ina Scheck on July 20, 1940, in Madison. He had been a resident of Skellytown since 1959, moving from Lamont, Kan. He was a member of Skellytown Church of Christ. He was a member of Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF&AM, Emporia, Kan., Masonic Lodge No. 12, Borger Commandery No. 96 KT and Madison Eastern Star Chapter 350. He was a past member of Skellytown Lodge. He retired from Sun Oil as a pumper in 1975. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 25, 2001; and a sister, Eva Rockley. Mr. Mullin was born April 3, 1913, in Wolf Flat. He owned and operated Lakeview Oil Co. and Turkey Butane from 1947 to 1964. Survivors include his wife, T. Mrs. Beum was born July 22, 1916, in Arnett, Okla., to John and Edna Knox Woods. She lived in Miami since the early 1940s. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Miami. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Leslie Hosier and Paul Beum; a son, Earl Hosier; two brothers, John and Ed Woods; and two sisters, Hattie Peacock and Clara Burgess. Burial with Eastern Star rites will be in Citizens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors. Mrs. Stark was born Oct. 15, 1901, in Alba, and had been a resident of Clarendon most of her adult life. She married Leon Heckle Stark on April 29, 1920, in Clarendon. She was a member of Clarendon Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 6 for more than 50 years, and was past Worthy Matron from 1948 to 1949. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 6, 1998. Survivors include a sister, Wilma Warr of Burley, Idaho. Mrs. Hollingsworth was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Iowa. She moved to Claude with her parents and three sisters when she was 2 years old. She graduated from Claude High School in 1929 and married Louis Hollingsworth of Claude. She was a farm wife and homemaker until the 1950s, when she worked for ASCS office. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elva Wiegman; three sisters, Bessie Youngblood, Vera Posey and Grace Wiegman; her husband; and only child, Dale Hollingsworth. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home Ivey Chapel with the Rev. Vergil Ichtertz, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Behrends was born Sept. 18, 1905, in Castro County. She was the last of nine children of the Arch Johnson family, all born in Castro County. She had been a member of First United Methodist Church since 1920. She graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1923, where she played basketball. She attended West Texas Normal School in Canyon for three years. She lettered in basketball there two years and was a charter member of WT Athletic Association. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and rarely missed a game. She taught school for seven years. She was a bookkeeper for 30 years for Dimmitt Consumers, Southwestern Public Service and ASCS office. She supervised five counties for the Federal Green Thumb. She married George Behrends in 1955 in Tulia. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973; a son, Bob Cook in 1995; her parents; and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include a son, Cliff Cook of Dimmitt; a daughter, Wanda Derrick of Melrose, N.M.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home. Mrs. Cosby was born in Borger to H.J. and Evelyn Caris on Jan. 1, 1933. Carley graduated from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio. She attended the University of Texas in Austin. She married J.W. "Bill" Cosby on Sept. 16, 1952, in Portales, N.M. They made their home in Tulia, where they lovingly raised four children. Mrs. Cosby was retired Senior Volunteer Program director for many years and was actively involved in all aspects of volunteer work. She initiated and promoted many community projects. She was a very successful grant writer, one of which initiated the Latch Key Program for children. Her heartfelt specialty was cooking, not only for her family, but for others, "the more the merrier." She was also an avid bowler, maintaining a 198 average at times and began a junior bowling league. She was an enthusiastic Texas Tech Lady Raider fan. Her philosophy was, "If you can laugh at it, you can beat it." She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a granddaughter, Candace Cosby. She attended Mobeetie High School and graduated from Wheeler High School in 1931. She married Glenn Scott on April 10, 1932, and moved to Amarillo in 1937 from Mobeetie. She attended West Texas College and paid for her tuition by canning vegetables. Lucille was a retired tax assessor and collector for 25 years with River Road School District. She was an extremely active Republican and former precinct chairman. She was a candidate for Potter County Clerk in 1973. She was a rancher and a gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, on Feb. 19, 2003; and a grandson, Larry Glen Cook in June 2000. Survivors include a daughter, Glenna Cook of Amarillo; a son, Bryan W.
