Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Happy's Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Name Catholic Church with Monsignor Harold Waldo, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mrs. Frost was born May 14, 1954, in Tulia to Loyd and Genevieve Beckman Nobile. She married Zeke Frost in San Jon, N.M., on March 21, 1974, and upon their marriage she gained a daughter, Dawn. They lived west of Happy on the family farm, where she was involved with the farming and ranching operation with her husband. She received her bachelor of science degree and was a retired registered nurse. She served as organizational leader to the Happy 4-H Club for two years. Joan was a member of Happy FCE Club for 29 years, where she had served in local and state offices. Joan was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, served as pastoral council president, and held several offices in the Hereford Deanery. She was a member of St. Ann's Altar Society and served as past president and vice president. She also served as vice president for Happy Days Association. She was a member of Women's Study Club of Happy and the ladies auxiliary of the Happy Volunteer Fire Department. She also served as past secretary of Panhandle Delta Zeta Sorority and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer. She was named Swisher County Woman of the Year in 1996. She was active in anything involving the youth of Happy and was instrumental in helping to facilitate the new community center in Happy. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Dawn Gibson and husband, Claud, of Corsicana; two grandsons, Gavin Gibson and C.L. Gibson, both of Corsicana; her mother of Amarillo; three brothers, Raymond Nobile, Jimmy Nobile and David Nobile, all of Amarillo; three sisters, Sue Hilderbrand of Georgetown, Karen Daniel of Aiken, S.C., and Carol Crawford of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Kingston owned his own paint and body shop in McLean for about 20 years. He was a devoted husband, father and papa, who loved his kids and grandkids. Mr. Schwartz was born June 22, 1975, in Canadian to Charles Riley and Peggy Goodwin Schwartz. He graduated from Canadian High School in 1993. During his high school career he was active in sports and was a manager of the Canadian Wildcat football team. Tom worked for Julian Waterwell Service until purchasing the company and forming Schwartz Waterwell Service. He supported the Canadian-Hemphill County Livestock Boosters. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards with friends. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Biddle loved the Lord, gospel music, old movies and chocolate covered cherries. We will miss our aunt Ina. She was a special, beautiful lady, who left a smile wherever she went. She married Ralph King on July 23, 1948, in Santa Fe, N.M. Mrs. King lived in Amarillo before moving to Roswell, where she lived many years. She returned to Amarillo in 1997. She was a member of St. Hyacinth's Catholic Church and was a volunteer at Catholic Family Services. She was a member of Amarillo Women's Golf Association. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, and a son, Kenny King, in 2000. Pierce, 91, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, in Haxton, Colo. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in N.S. Mrs. Pierce graduated from Amarillo High School and attended Amarillo College. She married Al Roland in 1934, and he was killed in action in World War II. She married Lyle W. Pierce in 1945. Lucille worked for Santa Fe Railway Co. and the post office during her lifetime. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved to cook and entertain, play bridge and travel. She especially loved animals and always made a home for cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dora Rienke Klemm; her stepfather, Fred Wyatt; a daughter, Patty; a son, Freddie; her first husband; and her second husband in 1988. Survivors include a daughter, Linda L. Wendling and husband, Galynn, of Haxton; a grandson, Jason Wendling of Greeley, Colo.; a nephew, Roland Dixon of Lansing, Kan.; and her longtime companion, Neldon Hobbs of Amarillo. Miss Flesher was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Canyon to the pioneer family of Charles and Avis Flesher. She graduated from Canyon High School and was a lifetime resident of Canyon. She received her BA and MA from West Texas State University. She taught school in Artesia, N.M., for three years and then worked for 37 years for Santa Fe Railway. After retiring from the railroad, she taught court reporting at Amarillo College and then worked in the library at WTSU for three years. Survivors include a sister, Natalie Russell and husband, Lee, of Lake Tanglewood; a cousin, Jane Jewett of Amarillo; and dear friends, Judy and Ricky Harmon of Weatherford. Mrs. Mann was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Bard, N.M., the daughter of Marie (Starkey) and Leroy Richerson. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Guymon, retiring after 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Mann; a son, Clifford Ray Phelps; a brother, C.W. Richerson; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Richerson. Miss Moseley was the most lovely and cherished daughter of Tony and Drenda Moseley. Heather was a beautiful and loving Christian who brought joy to all of her friends and family. Always smiling and bubbling with energy, Heather touched many lives with her sweet spirit and talkative personality. A 2002 graduate of Franklin Road Academy, Heather also attended Lehigh University and Auburn University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega soroity. Heather was a bright and articulate leader who organized many academic activities during her school years. Though her accomplishments were many, Heather will be most remembered as a cheerful and faithful friend, a loving and affectionate daughter and sister, a believer who was growing in her walk with Jesus and a young woman who warmed the hearts of all who knew her. Services will be at noon Wednesday in St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac with the Rev. James R. Barrand officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette by Peterson Funeral Home. Mrs. Tennant was born Feb. 18, 1921, in Marquette to Edward and Rose Vadnais. She married Earl Lancour in 1935 and Lorance Tennant in 1960. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, traveling and crocheting. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac, and St. Thomas the Aposte and St. Hyacinth's Catholic churches, both in Amarillo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1947; her second husband in 1994; a son, Joseph Lancour; three sisters; two brothers; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sons-in-law, Bruce Knox and Lawrence Burtt.
