Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in West Park Cemetery with John Love, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, officiating. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Fellowship Church Chapel in Amarillo with John Love, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland- Watson Funeral Home. Mr. Bowsher was born Oct. 24, 1912, in Basehor, Kan., to Henry Clay Bowsher and Leta Flenniken Bowsher. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1930. He was a Baptist and was in the cattle business. Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Garrison and Mildred Bowsher, both of Amarillo; five nieces, including Mary Grigsby and Barbara Geoffroy, both of Amarillo, and Linda Roberts of Canyon; a nephew, Michael Bowsher of Amarillo; many great-nieces and nephews; and many great-great-nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. Mr. Williams was born Oct. 17, 1910, in Ozark, Mo. He was a truckdriver/mechanic for Ramey and Co. Gulf. Survivors include two sons, Lewis Dean Williams of Stinnett and Ronald Lee Williams of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; a daughter, Dana Lou Mericle of Mount Vernon; a sister, Ida Avanell Williams of Panhandle; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Amarillo Globe-News, April 11, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Woodrow Wesley Ashcraft CLARENDON - Woodrow Wesley Ashcraft, 86, died Saturday, April 10, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Community Fellowship Church with the Rev. Bryan Knowles, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors. Mr. Ashcraft was born March 8, 1918, in Lakeview in Hall County and had lived in Clarendon most of his life. He married Corene Row on Dec. 11, 1938, in Clarendon. He had been employed in several area business and farming operations throughout his life before his retirement. He was a member of Community Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Merle Ashcraft on Jan. 11, 2001; and by three great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jimmy D. Ashcraft of Copperas Cove; three daughters, Jo Veta Sasser of Odessa and Nancy Watson and Judy Haire, both of Clarendon; a brother, James Ashcraft of Clarendon; 13 grandchildren; 38 great- grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was an attorney in Borger. Carrigan, M.D., 81, of Amarillo died Monday, April 5, 2004. Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements were by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Dr. Carrigan was born in Windsor, England. He served as a flight navigator in the Royal Air Force during World War II. After the war he attended Liverpool University School of Medicine. He practiced as an orthopedic surgeon in Alberta, Canada, and Richmond, Va., for many years. While practicing in Canada, Dr. Carrigan served as a flight surgeon in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was also a graduate of Harvard University School of Public Health. Dr. Carrigan enjoyed attending operas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Carrigan of Toronto; a son, Ian Carrigan of Edmonton, Canada; a granddaughter, Sara Carrigan of Toronto; a sister, Edna Cowie of Liverpool, England; two brothers, Raymon Carrigan and Douglas Carrigan, M.D.; and his common-law wife, Lynn Gaut of Amarillo. Mrs. Young was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Hutchison, Kan., to Alfred and Dora Jewell. She was a homemaker. She married Edwin Ray Young on Aug. 1, 1937, in Gruver. Mrs. Reames was born Feb. 14, 1920, in Bradley, Okla., to Flora Almeda and James Henry Hunter. She was married to James Irvin Reames for 58 years. She was an exceptional Christian who shared her love with all. She was an ambassador of Christianity Love and Dedication. She was always willing to share her food and God's love with the homeless. She was a past member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Smith and husband, Dale, of San Jose and Judy Reasoner and husband, Floyd, of Amarillo; a sister, Marjorie Wright of Roswell, N.M.; two granddaughters, Sabrina Rahn of Amarillo and Tiffany Epperly of San Jose; three grandsons, Vic and Greg Smith of San Jose and Jeff Reasoner of Amarillo; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Jerry Huggins, pastor of pastoral care at First Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Golle was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church for several years. Love and kindness radiated from her pores and her smile beamed constantly, a testament to the world of the Lord's greatness. She put others before herself, was anchored by His spirit and helped ingrain Christian faith and values in her family. She loved Vince, her husband of 43 years, and was proud of her two sons, Vince III and Eric. She volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House, was a member of the Department 56 Panhandle Villagers Club and loved needlepoint and other crafts. She was an active member of First Baptist Church's Adult 5 Sunday school. For 25 years, she worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. She was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated from South High School in Youngstown. The family wishes to thank the special family of First Baptist Church and the loving care of the nurses at BSA Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel J. and Lottie Wagner. Survivors include her husband; and two sons, Vince Golle III and wife, Larianne, of Edgewater, Md., and Eric Golle and wife, Tara, of Lubbock.
