Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Raymond Bowlin officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Malicoat was born June 14, 1942, in Hereford to George Lewis Shirley and Sadie Barnes Shirley. She graduated from Hereford High School 1960 and moved to Amarillo that year. She married D.L. Malicoat on Oct. 30, 1964, in Hereford. Emily Kaye was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and Beta Sigma Phi social sorority. She was the school secretary at Paramount Terrace Elementary School for 22 years. Survivors include her husband; a son, Trey Malicoat and wife Amie of Salem, Ore.; a daughter, Julie Diaz and husband Gabe of Amarillo; two sisters, Ruth Smith of Amarillo and Joyce Landers of Denton; a brother, Al Shirley of Eugene, Ore., four grandsons, Eric Diaz, Clint Diaz and Nathan Diaz, all of Amarillo, and Austin Malicoat of Salem; and a granddaughter, Claire Malicoat of Salem. The family would like to extend special thanks to Donna Ion and Dr. Brian Pruitt for "parting the waters." The Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday in Henson-Novak Funeral Home by Dave O'Sullivan. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Hamilton and the Rev. Hoa Nguyen officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Breuer was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Kranzburg, S.D. He was drafted by the Army and stationed in Germany during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Alice Breuer; two sons, Douglas Duane Breuer of Pampa and Kevin Edward Breuer of Guymon; a brother, Dale Breuer of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Carey First Baptist Church with the Rev. Randal Wilson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Owen graduated from the Childress Hospital's first LVN class in 1955 and worked 32 years at Childress General Hospital before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Cecil Owen, and a son, Danny Wayne. Survivors include her daughter, Kay McClain of Childress; a son, Randal Owen of Lake Charles, La.; a brother, Roy Dean Hill of Bonham; two sisters, Annette Lively of Fritch and Fern Goundie of Childress; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Pampa Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints with Steve Smith, bishop, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc. of Clarendon. Mr. Nash was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Ogden, Utah. He had lived in Pampa since 1957. He was employed by the city of Pampa sanitation department for 17 years before his retirement. He married Georgia Collins on Nov. 27, 1955, at Las Vegas. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Pampa Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Nash was preceded in death by his wife on June 13, 2001. Survivors include a brother-in-law, Buddy Collins and wife Sherry of Kansas City; and several dear friends, Ron and Taci Fernuik and family, Jim and Amy Freudenrich, Ronnie Freudenrich, Randy Freudenrich and family, Jewel and Wynell Moore, Christine Moore and Debra Moore, all of Pampa. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery of Memphis. Arrangements are by Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow. Mrs. Knight was born July 17, 1915, in Memphis to John S. and Susan Hampton Smith. On Jan. 27, 1932, she married Gerald TTelvis Knight in Hollis, Okla. Mrs. Knight was a farmer and a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church in McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, O.B. Smith; a sister, Essie Jackson; and a son, Gerry Knight. The body will be available for viewing Sunday at the funeral home in McKinney. Survivors include a grandson, Marcus Ian Knight of Allen; a granddaughter, Anaise Elaine Knight of Austin; and a nephew, B.F. Jackson of Monte Vista, Colo. Amarillo Globe-News, May 15, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kerry S. Evans AUSTIN - Kerry S. Evans, 49, died Thursday, May 13, 2004. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bronte Cemetery by Cook- Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Kerry led a very full, productive life. He was the only child born to Felma and Sid Evans on Feb. 19, 1955, in Bronte. Kerry spent his growing-up years in Spearman, and he was the only foreign exchange student from Spearman High School spending his senior year in Belgium. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in accounting. Kerry married his wife, Terri, on Oct. 18, 1986. They were best friends and soul mates as well as husband and wife. Kerry loved to travel and spent many days enjoying the beauty of Cancun, Mexico. Kerry was an avid Longhorn men's basketball fan. He proudly worked for the Texas Department of Transporation for six years before having to resign due to his failing health. He passed from this life following a long, courageous battle with his neurological disorder. Kerry, you are out of our sight but never from our hearts. Remember - love you always and forever. Kerry is survived by his wife; his mother, Felma Evans of Austin; his stepfather, Arleigh King of Austin; his grandmother, Bernice Evans of Bronte; aunts and uncles, Billie Jean and Bobby Evans of San Angelo, Jo Alice and Ed Winton of Fort Worth, and Nancy and Jim Brunson of El Indio; many cousins; and a loving pet, BeBe. The family will receive visitors at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. today. A second visitation will be at Shaffer Funeral Home, 509 S.
