Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Seymour retired as a draftswoman from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after 40 years of service. For many years she was an active participant in the Wild Rose Auxiliary of the UTU, Pecos Valley Craft Club and SBC Pioneers. Her passions included flower gardening, reading and globe trotting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Seymour; five sisters; and a brother. Survivors include her children, Dick Seymour and wife, Bonnie, and Jackie Don Seymour and wife, Joan, all of Amarillo, Scottie Odle and husband, Richard, of Moscow, Russia, and Terry Seymour and wife, Ruth, of Houston; a brother, Bill Presley and wife, Marnelle, of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. Mrs. Thrash was born July 16, 1923, in Clarksville to Charlie and Maudie Cawvey. She was married to Perry E. Shannon until his passing in 1979. She later married John Thrash until his passing in 1998. Vera was a cafeteria manager for more than 25 years - 10 years in Paris and 15 years here in Amarillo. Her greatest hobby was being a homemaker. She was a member of Bykota Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Flowers of Canadian and Janice Deaver and Deborah Pearson, both of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Mr. Widowski was born and raised in Amarillo. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1969. He married Kathy Mitchell in 1974 in Amarillo. He was in auto paint and body work all of his life. He owned and operated several body shops before becoming an insurance adjuster for Auto Damage Appraisers. He was president of the Childress Anglers and Sportman's Club. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Les was a family man who enjoyed each day. He loved fishing and being with friends and family. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Widowski in 1979. Gabriel officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Elizardo was born Oct. 17, 1924, in Yorktown to Felicitas and Matias Rosales. She was a member of St. Laurence Cathedral and was active in many organizations of the church. She was a Crusillista and a Guadulupana. Maria was very devoted to her church and her 12 children. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her gardening and feeding the birds. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny R. Elizardo and an infant son; her mother, Felicitas R. Aguilar; and her husband, Alfredo M. Elizardo Sr. Survivors include five sons, Alfredo R. Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Hughs Funeral Home. Mr. Gailey was born Jan. 16, 1917, in Thurber to the late Mr. John William Gailey and Mrs. Leora Moore Gailey. He graduated from Waco High School. He then went to Baylor University and graduated in 1940 with a BA in journalism. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in World War II. He married Jerry Kinard on Dec. 13, 1941, in Brownwood. He moved to Memphis in 1946 from Longview. He was owner of Kinard-Gailey Agency and Real Estate. Ace served on the Donley County Water Department, as city secretary, president of the school board, mayor and the Veterans Land Board. He was also a member of First Baptist Church, Memphis Country Club, a deacon of First Baptist Church and Lions Club. He was preceded in death by 17 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dwight Gailey of Lewisville and Don Gailey of Argyle; a daughter, Diane Brown of Gruver; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 30, 1994; and a grandson, Mickey Roger Washington.
