Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with the Rev. Gary Burd of Christian Heritage Church officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Aaron was a lifelong resident of Amarillo. He was in the PPCD class at South Lawn Elementary School. He was a very happy, friendly and loving little boy, who loved life and his cars. Survivors include his parents, James and Michele; two brothers, Christopher and Michael, both of Amarillo; a sister, Cassandra of Amarillo; his grandparents, Eddie and Rosemarie White and Patricia Bopp, all of Amarillo, William Bopp of Colorado and Don and Shirley Bohanan of Illinois; and his great-grandmother, Katherine Taylor. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn Garrett, pastor of senior adults, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetey by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mrs. Russell was born in Oklaunion the oldest of 10 children and was a lifetime resident of Amarillo. She was a 1935 graduate of Amarillo High School. She married John Hampton "Hamp" Russell on Aug. 30, 1947, in Amarillo. She was a homemaker and operated a child care business out of her home for more than 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992; and a son, Jack Russell in April 2004. Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Young of Amarillo; a sister, Martha Cooper of Fort Smith, Ark.; a brother, James D. Mott of Bowie, Md.; four grandchildren, Amy White, Kristi Hinkle, Jeremy Young and Amanda Rue; and two great-grandchildren, Mark Allen White and Madeline Anne Rue. The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church Pre-School Ministry or BSA Hospice and Life Enrichment Center. Georgia St. Eddie Rey was a beacon of light, whose warm spirit touched the hearts and lives of many. To know Eddie Rey, was to know an angel, and he will live on through the changes he made on our lives. He will be dearly missed. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Belinda Miller and Art Hickock officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Boaz was born in Shawnee County, Topeka, Kan. He graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka and attended Phillips University in Enid, Okla. He had been an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance before retiring. Mr. Boaz was a veteran of the Army, serving during the Korean conflict. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine Williams Boaz in 1976 and his second wife, Mary Ann Miller Boaz in 2001. Survivors include three stepsons, Gregory Boaz of Dallas, Jeffrey Boaz of Seward, Neb., and Kirk Miller of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, the Rev. Belinda Miller of Amarillo; two brothers, Don Boaz and James Boaz, both of Topeka; three sisters, Sylvia Herrmann of Topeka, Sadie Carpenter of Shawnee, Kan., and June Clair of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Hansard was born and raised in Paris, Ark. She married James Henry Hansard in 1937. She moved to Amarillo in 1949 from Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. Hansard was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Bell Avenue Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991; a daughter, Betty Bourque in 1998; and a sister, Dorothy McLarty. Survivors include a daughter, Linda M. Moore of Amarillo; two sons, James Lee Hansard and Jimmy Hansard, both of Amarillo; a sister, Katherine Route of Fort Smith; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Scott was born and raised in Amarillo and was a graduate of Amarillo High School. He married Opal Davis on June 1, 1933, in Amarillo. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the Navy. He owned and operated Scott's Grocery and Meat Market for many years and then sold butcher supplies for Pittsburg-Erie Saw Co. for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1991; a granddaughter, Dana Scott in 2002; a brother, C.B. Scott; and a sister, Beulah Scott LaPrade. Mrs. Shores was born July 4, 1932, in Thackerville, Okla. She married Paul Shores on Nov. 11, 1950, in Vernon. Survivors include two daughters, Renita Macias of Amarillo and Sherri Edwards of Vernon; a son, Larry Shores of San Antonio; two stepdaughters, JoAnn Smith of Auburn, Calif., and Loretta Peterson of Pico Rivera, Calif.; three sisters, Ada Mae Grant of Vernon, Zelma Dowdy of Hastings, Okla., and Evelyn Pyle of Iowa Park; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Naden SAN DIEGO - Ralph A. Naden, 83, died Friday, May 14, 2004. Memorial services will be at a later date. Mr. Naden donated his body to University of San Diego Medical Science. Mr. Naden moved to Amarillo, Texas, in 1951 and owned City Refrigeration untill 1985. He lived at Lake Tanglewood and belonged to Community Church there. Survivors include his wife, Earline Davis; a son, Rex A. Naden of Los Gatos; two grandchildren; two brothers, Dan of Warrens Wis., and Dave of Atlanta; and two sisters, Elaine of Morstown, N.J., and Carol of Denver.
