Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Westview Christian Church with the Rev. Charles Waugh and the Rev. Roy Wheeler officiating. Private burial will be by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Roberts married Bill Roberts in Amarillo on March 30, 1991. She was a member of Westview Christian Church. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Coffee Bunch for 50 years. Special Coffee Bunch friends were Elaine Landers, Wanda Hunt, Jane Douglass, Dee Guttry, Helen Heetland, Helen Holt, Dinah Howard, Jane Marcks, Chris McClain, Aletha Roads, Willa Thomas and Kay Stargel. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Carol Lovett and husband, Les, of Amarillo; two sons, Dennis Stanford and wife, Paula, of Oklahoma City and Wes Stanford of Glendale, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Mireles officiating. Burial will be in Holt Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Jenkins graduated from Spearman High School. He was successful farmer and rancher for more than 70 years. Survivors include his wife, Clara; a son, Stephen Jenkins of Colleyville; a daughter, Kathy Smith of Austin; three grandchildren; and two great- granddaughters. Burial will be in Big Valley Cemetery in Medicine Mound by Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Rogers was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Cave County, Ark. She married W.C. "Dub" Rogers on Aug. 21, 1949, in Childress. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary Rogers and William Clark Rogers III, both of Quanah; a daughter, Gay Smith of Lubbock; two sisters, Laverne Custer and Ann Jameson, both of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Claterbaugh was employed as a sales clerk for Montgomery Ward for 15 years. She was an active member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Margie Murphy of Hacienda, Calif., and Wanona Gardner of Selingsgrove, Pa.; two brothers, Jim Hyatt of Phoenix and John Hyatt of Gilbert, Ariz. "Bill" Oler, 79, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wendell Horn, superintendent of the Pampa district of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Oler worked for Hochest Celanese as a unit operator for 28 years, retiring in 1987. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Retha; two sons, Ron Oler of Perryton and Steve Oler of Richwood; a daughter, Sandy Huddleston of Pampa; a brother, Ralph Oler of Harrison, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Gill HOOKER, Okla. - Mary A. Gill, 81, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Hooker Cemetery with Larry Bradford, pastor of First Baptist Church in Moscow, Kan., officiating. Arrangements are by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Gill was born Nov. 10, 1922, in Amarillo, the daughter of Adolph Gifford and Mary Pearl Baker Brauchi. She attended school in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School. She attended nursing school at St. Anthony's Hospital School of Nursing. On June 19, 1944, at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, N.C., Mary was united in marriage to Harold Dee Gill. Harold served in World War II and Mary worked as an RN at St. Anthony's Hospital. After Harold returned from the war, they made their home in Hooker. She worked as a private duty nurse in Hooker, and after her children entered junior high age, she worked full time at Epworth Hospital and later Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kan. Mary was an accomplished pianist, a devoted homemaker and mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Dec. 27, 1972; and two brothers, Garwood and Elwood. Survivors include three sons, Dee Gill and wife, Susan, and Mike Gill and wife, Marilyn, all of Amarillo, and Ken Gill and wife, Rhonda, of Plano; a daughter, Debbie Kubin and husband, Greg, of Moscow; two brothers, Dale Brauchi and wife, Billie, and Victor Brauchi and wife, Doris, all of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Talcott was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and a member of Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill"; a son, Bill Talcott of Jasper, Texas; a daughter, Shirley Smith of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. "Curly" Watson, 71, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, in Elk City. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Carter First Baptist Church with John Rodgers officiating. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery by Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home. Mr. Watson resided in Wheeler, Texas, until his retirement from Phillips Petroleum Co. in June 1986. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in the Korean conflict. Survivors include two sons, Ben Watson of Pampa, Texas, and Bill Watson of Fritch, Texas; five grandchildren; and a brother, Darrell Watson of Carter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Tate Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens by Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Mr. Grabber was born Feb. 25, 1966, in Amarillo. He was a graduate of Lamar High School and a member of Tate Springs Baptist Church. He was an environmental service technician for Texas Water Technologies. He was preceded in death by his infant sons, Joe and Henry. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Anthony Scott Grabber of Arlington; his mother, Patty Gallagher of Arlington; his father, Eugene A. Grabber of Tavares, Fla.; a sister, Becky Long and husband, Tom, of Arlington; his nieces and nephews, Christopher and Emily Long and Lucas and Anastasia Schmidtke; and a multitude of extended family and friends. Tweedle SAN ANTONIO - Bill S. Tweedle, 42, died Thursday June 3, 2004. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Mr. Tweedle was born Oct. 12, 1961, in Amarillo. Bill was devoted to, and his world revolved around his wife and children. He graduated from Amarillo High School, Texas Tech and recently received a master's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. He taught five years for El Paso I.S.D and for the past nine years at Southwest High School of San Antonio. He was an avid outdoorsman and was on his morning run when death overtook him. Survivors include his wife, Donna; two children, Emma and Grant Tweedle; his parents, Jim and Shelby Tweedle of El Paso; his mother, Jeanette Weatherby Tinajero of Big Lake and Midland; a stepbrother, Jason Beavers of Aspen, Colo.; a stepsister, Charlsey Medina of Corinth; two nieces; his in-laws, Cmd. Sgt. Major (Army Retired) Alton and Bong Yo Eckert of Pittsburg, Pa.; and two sisters-in-law, Sherry Eckert of Falls Church, Va., and Susan Eckert of Pittsburgh.
