Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mr. Cody was a veteran of the Coast Guard, serving in Korea. He was a welder for Asarco, Brown and Root and Missouri Valley for many years. He loved to fish and travel. He was a lifelong resident of Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willafae and Herman Cody; and his wife of 25 years, Gearldean. Survivors include a sister, Glenda Tolley and husband, Bob, of Amarillo; several nieces and nephews; his special friend, Sue Casey; and numerous friends. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. F.M. Byford officiating. Mrs. Barrett was born on Oct. 13, 1926, in Mangum, Okla. She married Charles Ray Barrett on Dec. 27, 1944, in Magnum. Robbie was a member of the Senior Adult IV Sunday school class at Paramount Baptist Church and an active member of Epsilon Sigma, Alpha-Alpha Beta Chapter. She was a longtime member of Democratic Women's Club and gave thousands of volunteer hours to various organizations, including BSA Auxiliary and Harrington Cancer Center. She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Ross Roach; and a grandson, Scott James Bussey. Survivors include a son, Allen Ray Barrett and wife, Natalie, of Amarillo; a daughter, Vicky Mingus and husband, Rob, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Charles Roach of Edmond, Okla.; a sister, Ann Chambers of Wichita, Kan.; four grandchildren, Melinda NaKayama, Eric Bussey, Erin Matthews and Nathan Barrett; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at noon Friday in Cristo Viene Church with Federico Pena, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas. Mrs. Rangel was born July 17, 1950, in Ojinaga, Mexico, and had been a Dallas resident for three years. Survivors include three sons, Jose Luis Rangel, Anselmo Rangel and Antonio Rangel, all of Dallas; two daughters, Vilma Rangel and Patricia Pena, both of Dallas; a brother, Jose Cerda of Sunray; four sisters, Maria Renteria and Carmen Rodriguez, both of Sunray, Juana Pena of Dumas and Bertha Bernal of Monahans. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with the Rev. Bryan Knowles, pastor of Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon, and the Rev. Allen Ford, pastor of Southwest Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Bohanon was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Springdale, Ark., and had been a resident of Donley County since 1968. Prior to his retirement, he was a pipe fitter in the fire protection business. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean conflict and was a member of Clarendon VFW Post #7782. He was also a member of Amarillo Local Pipefitters Union #669. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; a brother; and two sons, James Gregory Bohanon on Dec. 19, 1970, and Bradley Wade Bohanon on Jan. 19, 1980. Survivors include a daughter, Gwen Simpson of Canyon; his former wife, Elizabeth Smith of Amarillo; a brother, Roy Bohanon of Amarillo; three sisters, Dorothy Shawhart of Amarillo and Argie Johnson and Ardie Spears, both of Springdale; and three granddaughters, Halee, Jessica and Jolee. Mrs. Wheeler was born Feb. 8, 1974, in Hereford. She worked for TDCJ and enjoyed raising her two children. She was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Jo Romero; and her grandfathers, Celso Romero and Jose Ortiz. Survivors include a son, Kevin Allen Wheeler of Dalhart; a daughter, Alexa Renee Wheeler of Dalhart; their father, Kevin Wheeler of Dallas; her soul mate and special friend, Rob McVay of Amarillo; her mother, Lucy Evangeline Romero of Dalhart; her father, Arcenio Romero Sr. of Hereford; a brother, Arcenio Romero Jr. of Happy; and her grandmothers, Carolina Romero of Hereford and May Ortiz of Dalhart. Hawkins, 79, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Lubbock. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Bovina United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gene Hawkins and the Rev. Jimmy McGuire, both of Lubbock, and the Rev. Quita Jones, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Bovina Cemetery by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Hawkins was born in Caddo, Okla., on Nov. 17, 1924. She married Lloyd Gober on Dec. 19, 1946, in New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1992. She married Erith Hawkins in 1995 also in New Mexico. She was a homemaker as well as past employee of Security State Bank in Farwell and First National Bank of Bovina. She was a member of Bovina United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband; a brother, James Roach; and a sister, Billie Barber. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kim Gober of Ruidoso, N.M.; a son, Lane Gober and wife, Liz, of Victoria; two stepsons, Chet Hawkins of Tulia and Daryl Hawkins of Portales, N.M.; a granddaughter, Chelsea Gober of Victoria; a grandson, Jeff Gober of Victoria; five stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat- grandchild. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The Rev. Casey was born on Nov. 1, 1926 in Staff. He was minister of the First Baptist Church of Fritch. Survivors include three sons, Richard Casey of Rankin, Charles Casey of Denver and Elton Casey of Perryton; two daughters, Belinda Gabbard of Christ Church, New Zealand, and Lavonna Evans of Sanford; three brothers, Benny Casey of Ranger, Austin Casey of Borger and Marvin Casey of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Jewel Peck and Clara Langston, both of Joplin, Mo., and Melba Binion of Stinnett; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors. Neal was dead on arrival at Amarillo Emergency Receiving Center on Sunday after drowning at Greenbelt Lake. He was born Feb. 6, 1994, in Amarillo and had been a lifetime resident of Clarendon. He just completed the fourth grade at Clarendon Elementary School. He was involved in Pee Wee football and Little Dribblers basketball and loved riding and working on his bicycle. He was a Boy Scout and attended First United Methodist Church summer camp. He was a member of St. Stephen's Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Neal Smith and Alphonso Finney; and a brother, Timothy Jackson. Survivors include his mother, Martha Harris of Clarendon; his father and stepmother, Tony and Cassandra Finney of Amarillo; seven sisters, Jaqueda Harris and Reanna Jackson, both of Clarendon, Tamekla Whitley of Newark, N.J., Latoya Finney, Adriane Woods and Alessandra Finney, all of Amarillo, and Bada Jasso of Houston; four brothers, Staff Sgt.
