Byrd, 66, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 20, 2004. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Coulter Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Whitt officiating. Private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Byrd was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church. He was employed with Panhandle Steel Builders as a commercial general contractor. Previously he had been employed within the farm cooperative industry for 35 years. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann; a daughter, Danielle Findley and husband, Jay, of Amarillo; a son, Larry B. Byrd and wife, Meg, of Prairie Village, Kan.; six grandchildren, Chase, Ashton, Jameson, Calen, Aidan and Carly. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice in care of Olivia's Angels, P.O. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Paramount Terrace Christian Church with the Rev. Mark Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Beard was born Oct. 12, 1921. She had worked as a personal caregiver and was a homemaker. Mrs. Beard had also worked at Weight Watchers. She was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church, Berean Circle and Journeyman Sunday school class. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She always greeted you with a smile and was blessed with a spirit of humor and joy. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Curtis Beard on Oct. 15, 1994; and a grandson, Clint Harris in 1987. Survivors include three sons, Ray Beard of Granbury, Glen Beard of Krum and Jimmy Beard of Ruther Glen, Va.; a daughter, Jan Frisbie of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be said at 1 p.m. Saturday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. Francisco Perez officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Hernandez married the former Mary Veliz on March 18, 1955, in Mission. He was employed by ASARCO for 27 years as a foreman before his retirement in 1999. He was preceded in death by his wife on March 27, 2002. Survivors include three daughters, Esmeralda Ash and husband, Tom, Ermelinda Hernandez and Veda Gutierrez and husband, Joe, all of Amarillo; a son, Roy Hernandez Jr. and wife, Gloria, of Amarillo; three brothers, Ray Hernandez of Chicago, Raul Hernandez of Sealy and Robert Hernandez of Plano; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Wilde was born and raised in Amarillo and graduated from high school in Baldwin Park, Calif. He married Glenda Ammons on June 17, 1961, in Amarillo. He returned to Amarillo in 1979 and had worked as a pump technician for Allied Pump Co. since 1979. He was a 38-year member of BPOE (the Elks Lodge), where he served as chaplain and secretary. Survivors include his wife; a son, Scott Wilde and wife, Tina, of Amarillo; a daughter, Kenda Wilde Smith of Amarillo; three brothers, Jerry Wilde, Keith Wilde and Randy Wilde, all of Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren, Tye Smith, Kylee Curry, Cody Curry and Paxton Wilde; two aunts, Juanita Blue of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Lenora Ledford of Cartersville, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, whom he loved very much. Georgia St. Mr. Knight was born July 10, 1926. He was raised in Teague. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. Mr. Knight worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a conductor for 42 years. Lee and his family resided in Childress before moving to Amarillo in 1976. Mr. Knight married Janice Moon on June 5, 1954. Papa loved to garden, watch sports, read and most of all play with his beloved dog, Emit. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1996 and a son, Larry Knight, in 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Marti Shackelford and husband, David, of Amarillo; a son, Tracy Knight of Childress; a stepdaughter, Jan Kelley of Lubbock; a daughter-in-law, Paula Knight of Midland; two granddaughters, April Cross and husband, Ty, of White Deer and Nikki Shackelford of Amarillo; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Molder was born Jan. 25, 1935, in Hollis, Okla., and had been a Clarendon resident since 1955. She married Lloyd Leon Molder on Oct. 20, 1951, in Clarendon. She was an LVN and had been employed by Medical Center Nursing Home in Clarendon for 18 years prior to her retirement. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 22, 2002. Survivors include her mother, Cena Armstrong of Clarendon; five daughters, Geneva Mays and Julie Sides, both of Clarendon, Kay McDaniels of Hugoton, Kan., Rita Mills of Electra and Susan Phillips of Gordonville; a sister, Rose Ellen Brogdon of Bells; two brothers, Clarence Armstrong of Amarillo and J.O. Mr. Skelton was born May 27, 1941, in Healdton, Okla., the son of Joe and Ruby Skelton. He was a veteran, having served as a staff sergeant with the 142nd Infantry Division of the Army. Mr. Skelton married Joyce McCarley on June 25, 1965, in Hereford. He was an electrician for more than 40 years and owned and operated Skelton Electric in Hereford for many years. Survivors include his wife; a son, David Skelton and wife, Kristi, of Hereford; his mother, Ruby Skelton of Hereford; two brothers, Donnie Skelton of Hereford and Ray Skelton of Longview; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Austin Skelton, both of Hereford. Mr. King was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Abilene, Texas. He married Hazel Day on Sept. 11, 1938, in Abilene.
