Private family graveside services will be in Boot Hill Cemetery in Boys Ranch. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Andes was born in Los Angeles. He was raised at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and graduated from high school there in 1967. He married Johnnie Cornelison in Dalhart on April 7, 1968. He was a resident of Amarillo for more than 35 years. He owned and operated his own window cleaning business for five years. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mary Andes of Amarillo; a sister, Wanda Maiwald of Lawton, Okla.; his father, Ray Andes of Dalhart; two grandsons, Justin Evans and Holden Evans; and a granddaughter, Myra Williams. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Trinity Fellowship Church North Auditorium with Pastor John Love and Roger Fenlaw officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Edmonds was born in Red River County and lived in Dalhart before joining the Army. He served in the Army for 25 years before retiring. He was stationed in Germany and served two tours in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star. He married Mildred Rule in Amarillo on Aug. 6, 2002. He enjoyed woodworking and loved to sing. Mr. Edmonds was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife; four stepchildre; four sisters, Martha Ott of Amarillo, Ruth Roberts of DeQueen, Ark., Susie Slusher of Cisco and Mary Miller of Emery. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Victory Church with Pastor Pat Brown officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Ochoa was born and raised in Amarillo. He lived in Amarillo most of his life and served in the Marines. Mr. Ochoa was a graphic artist for Glazer's Wholesale Distributors before starting his own upholstery shop. He moved to Dallas in 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramone and Maria Ochoa. Survivors include three sons, Angelo Ochoa and wife, Delilah, Richard Ochoa and Adam Ochoa and wife, Lucretia, all of Amarillo; a sister, Sally Oldewalt and husband, Gilbert, of Pekin, Ill.; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Ritchie was a decorated combat veteran of World War II. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Evelyn Ritchie; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Harper was born in Falls of Rough, Ky., on Jan. 6, 1942. She married William G. Harper on Dec. 28, 1968. She was a member of Arredondo Chapel of Daughters of the American Revolution since June 1999, and served as chapter treasurer. She was a substitute teacher for Amarillo ISD. She was preceded in death by her father, George Lawrence; and her mother, Maggie "Bertie" Willoughby. Survivors include her husband; a son, James Harper and wife, Rebecca; a daughter, Malinda Kaye Padgett and husband, Cody; a sister, Ann Yeager; three half-brothers; two nieces; a nephew; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be at noon Wednesday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Marcus Foster, his stepfather, officiating. Mr. Wilkerson was born in Amarillo. He attended Amarillo High School and Oak Grove High School in San Jose, Calif. He returned to Amarillo in February. Damon was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his parents, Marcus and Cleada Foster of San Leandro, Calif., and Robert and Paula Wilkerson of Amarillo; two sisters, Kamica Wilkerson of Fremont, Calif., and Vanessa Wilkerson-McCoy of Oakland, Calif.; and four brothers, Robert Wilkerson, Jr., Justin Wilkerson, Kevin Wilkerson and Dillon Wilkerson, all of Amarillo. Amarillo Globe-News, July 27, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area Earl Stina Cain CLARENDON - Earl Stina Cain, 93, died Sunday, July 25, 2004, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Claude Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Hicks of Clarendon officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors. Mr. Cain was born March 21, 1911, in Spanish Fort to Richard Dick Cain and Bessie Myrtle Keck Cain. He married Kathryn Adele Eckert on Dec. 23, 1937, in Amarillo. He taught school and coached at Monahans and Wheeler. In 1955, he moved to Clarendon, where he was the principal at Clarendon Elementary and Junior High schools until retiring in 1976. He moved to Amarillo in 1999, but had fond memories of his life in Clarendon and always considered it his home. He was a member of Southwest Football and Basketball Officials Association. He traveled throughout the country refereeing high school and college games. During his career, he was twice chosen to referee the Sun Bowl game in El Paso. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His picture was often seen in local newspapers with some impressive largemouth bass he had caught. He was a member of Palo Duro Masonic Lodge No. 28 in Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his wife on July 14, 1997; a daughter, Carol Mills in 1998; two brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include a son, Bobby Cain and wife, Dianne, of Freehold, N.J.; a sister, Georgia "Toots" Worick of Fresno, Calif.; two brothers, Dick Cain of Fresno and Nelson Cain of Selma, Calif.; five grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren. Bud Kidwell, minister of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park. Mr. Howard was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Quanah. He married Virginia Yule on Nov. 9, 1940, in Quanah. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Howard of Little Elm; a sister, Ida Margaret Forbau of Decatur; a brother, Bill Howard of Quanah; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Sober was an Army veteran, serving in the Korean conflict. He retired from the oilfield industry in 1992 and was a Baptist.
