Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Bob Thomas, chaplain of Odyssey Healthcare, officiating. Mr. Payne was born June 24, 1959, in Wichita Falls. A lively and self-reliant man who always strived for knowledge, Randy was a man of many talents in life. He worked as an elevator technician for Otis Elevator Co., was a registered nurse and founder/co-owner of Computer Works, a prominent local computer service. He not only enjoyed music but was also an accomplished musician. As an avid car enthusiast, he rebuilt and showed his prized vintage vehicles. Randy married Patty Mason on June 17, 1990, where he assumed the role of a family man to Patty and stepson, Mic. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Payne. Survivors include his wife; his stepson; his mother and stepfather, Jan and John Winters of Amarillo; his stepmother, Louann Payne of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two brothers, Tim Payne of Amarillo and Bryan Payne of Ropesville; a stepbrother, Dale Cannady; a stepsister, Shay Cannady; his uncles, Mike Payne and Bill Payne and wife, Gail; two nephews, Nicholas Payne of Ropesville and Tyler Payne of Amarillo; a niece, Taylor Payne of Amarillo; his cousins, Sunny, Skyler, Jason and Andy Payne; and numerous other family members and friends. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Sanders was born Aug. 19, 1942, in Wellston, Okla., to Jerry Don and Dorothea Molone. She grew up in Dalhart. She and her husband owned Sanders Satellite. She was a homemaker. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her family was always her reason for living. After retiring, she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Sanders; her parents; and two brothers, Jerry Wayne Molone and Morris Molone. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Embassy with Dr. Genaro Martinez Jr. of Ministerios Nueva Vida in Lubbock and Oscar Maldonado, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Martinez was born in San Diego, Texas, on Sept. 18, 1922. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Teresa Villanueva in Alice in 1947. He lived and worked the majority of his life in the Texas Panhandle. He was also a lay minister the majority of his life. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by two sons and two grandsons. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Maria M. Vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Mass will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the church with Bishop Emeritus Leroy T. Matthiesen and Monsignor Joseph Tash celebrants. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Herrick was born April 26, 1928, in Denver. While attending Colorado State University majoring in animal science, he volunteered to serve his country during the Korean War and joined the Army in 1948. Tom became a cattleman for the Denver Livestock Co. Four years later, he joined his father, Ralph Herrick with the John Clay Commission Co. Then in 1959, he moved to Amarillo with his wife and four small children to partner in the Texas Order Buying Co. Over the next decade, Tom became general manager and helped build one of the largest cattle feedyards in Texas, the Randall County Feedyard. In 1967, Tom was elected president of Panhandle Livestock Association and elected to the executive committee of Texas Cattle Feeders Association. In 1969, Tom was elected president of MesaAgro Inc. In 1972 to 1973, he became president of TCFA. He had also been appointed as a member of the executive committee of the National Cattleman's Association in Denver. Outside of the cattle industry, Tom served as director of the Federal Reserve Bank, Dallas District, from 1972 to 1978. Tom served as president of Amarillo Country Club from 1988 to 1989. He also served on the board of directors for Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. A successful cattleman and investor, Tom was an outdoorsman and loved to fly fish and hunt. He enjoyed traveling and playing golf. Over the past few years he was a volunteer driver of Meals on Wheels. Survivors include his wife, Ann Elliott; a son, Thomas William Herrick Jr. of San Antonio; three daughters, Cheryl Ann Herrick of Dallas, Kimberly Ann Knotter of Phoenix and Mary Louise Ryan of Fort Worth; two sons-in-law, David Knotter and John Ryan; a daughter-in-law, Emily Herrick; and seven grandchildren, Grey and Adrian Clair Knotter, Ben, Walker and Henry Ryan, Thomas William Herrick III and Hailey Herrick. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Shouse was born July 12, 1956, in Pampa to Howard and Vernice Shouse. He had been a resident of Pampa most of his life until moving to Granbury in August 2003. He was a welder in Pampa and was also a welder for Rockin S Construction in Granbury. He married Edwina Black Reeb on Aug. 7, 2000, in Pampa. He attended Body of Christ and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vernice Hulsey Shouse in 1974. Survivors include his wife; his father and stepmother, Howard and Sandra Shouse of Graham; a stepdaughter, Erica Smith and husband, Toby, of Pampa; a brother, Bill Shouse and wife, Cristy, of Pampa; a sister, Debra Shouse of Gainesville; a stepgrandson, Joey Smith of Pampa; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Arrangements were by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Our beloved mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2004. She is enjoying working in her new flower garden and making dolls for all the little children in Heaven. Jessie was born April 18, 1914, in LaJunta, Colo. She married Richard Thomas Roberts on Dec. 21, 1930, in Clovis, N.M. Jessie had been a resident of Fritch since 1975 and was a longtime county resident. Jessie was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Fritch and was Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Stinnett. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 1, 1973; a son, Billy John Roberts on July 8, 1998; two sisters; and a brother. Survivors include seven children, William T. She married Pat Bourassa in Canadian. She was a resident of Canadian and Amarillo. Mrs. Bourassa was a past president of Federated Women's Club, a member of First United Methodist Church of Canadian and PEO. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990. Mrs. Scott was born June 5, 1923, in Donley County, Texas. She was the fifth child of O.L. and Valley Usrey. She spent most of her life in Amarillo. Due to her failing health she, along with her husband, Russell, moved to Edmond. Lavern was a faithful Christian and wonderful wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband.
