Mrs. Sipes was born Aug. 19, 1906, to Jessie T. and Martha Armstrong in Marble, Ark. She moved with her family of four sisters and a brother to the Knott Community in West Central Texas in 1918. She spent her days enjoying the staff and residents of Sunrise Convalscent Home, who were especially caring of her as she grew more weary of this life. As she entered into heaven, we heard the angels sing and rejoice that one more had come to rest with them and will forever be remembered and loved dearly. She taught us all to be brave in all situations and to give all you had to the care of others in need no matter what the need. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a son, Alford Sipes.
