Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Benningfield was born to Samuel and Pearl Benningfield on Sept. 3, 1929, in Kansas City, Mo. Sam moved to Amarillo in 1959, where he joined the Amarillo Police Department and later the Potter County Sheriff's Department and the Texas Department of Corrections at the Clements Unit. Mr. Benningfield was a master roller skater, and he loved to fish. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Eugene Benningfield; his parents; and a sister, Laverne Nims. Survivors include his wife, Mary Arthur-Benningfield, whom he married on March 25, 1961; two daughters, Leslie S. Bearden and husband, Bruce, and Linda K. Roberts and husband, Lynn; four grandchildren, Felicia Neer, Brianna Bearden, Analyse Bearden and Eric Roberts; and numerous other family members. Roy Wheeler, minister emeritus at Paramount Terrace Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel was born and raised in Canyon. She had been an Amarillo resident for almost 60 years. Mrs. Daniel worked as a beautician and was a member of West Amarillo Christian Church. She enjoyed fishing and working in her yard, and she loved to travel. She married Lyndall White on Dec. 2, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1982. She married George W. Daniel on Jan. 16, 1997, in Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Clara Graves; and two brothers, Raymond and Milford Graves. Survivors include her husband; a stepson, Pat Daniel and wife, Susan, of Hereford and their daughter, Cassie, of Canyon; a sister, Dorothy Cook and husband, Roy, of Canyon; and a special friend, whom she considered a daughter, Janis Ries and husband, Jerry, and their son, Jordan, all of Canadian. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Winfred Moore, Ken Sheppard and Gerald Meyers officiating. Private burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors. Mr. Hanna was born June 21, 1914, near Throckmorton, moving to Borger in 1926. Mr. Hanna served in the Army and was then employed by Borger ISD from 1946 until 1998. During his life, Mr. Hanna was Basketball Coach of the Year in 1960, Administrator of the Year in 1977, was inducted into the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame in 1984, served on the Cal Farley's Boys Ranch board of directors and named Borger Citizen of the Year in 1997. He was athletic director for Texas Boys' State for 45 years and was honored by a resolution from the Texas House of Representatives in 1990. The new Borger ISD high school gym was dedicated to Tex Hanna in 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Celia Hanna; three sisters; and four brothers. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Amarillo; three sons, Bryan Hanna and wife, Kandy, of Waco, and George Hanna and wife, Rossetta, and Randy Hanna and wife, Becky, all of Borger; eight grandchildren, Casey Hanna, Angela Trent, Chris Hanna, David Hanna, Brandon Hanna, Dane Hanna, Wesley Wilkins and Jessie Wilkins; and three great-grandchildren, Megan Hanna, Jonathan Hanna and Mason Trent. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robin Gantz, pastor, and the Rev. Larry Black of Abilene officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors. Mr. Chamberlain was born Oct. 17, 1951, in Lubbock and had been a lifetime resident of Clarendon. He married Diane Haggis on April 26, 1975, in Norwood, Ohio. He attended Clarendon public schools and graduated high school from Kemper Military Academy on Booneville, Mo., in 1970. He graduated from General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich., with a bachelor of science in industrial management and a minor in mechanical engineering. In 1975, he returned to Clarendon to involve himself in Chamberlain Motor Co., a family-owned car dealership that he owned and operated for 22 years, selling Cadillac, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile and GM and later Chevrolet. At one point, Trey had the largest showroom in Texas. In 1980, he became dealer principal of the business upon his father's death. He was an elder and a member of First Presbyterian Church. During his business career, Trey was a Texas Automobile Dealer Association board member, a Caballero Life Insurance Group member and a National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) member. He was treasurer of Silver Star Oldsmobile Advertising Group from 1982 to 1998, twice received the Cadillac Master Dealer Award, Best in Class Award from Buick, Top Customer Satisfaction Award, past president of Clarendon Chamber of Commerce, past president of Clarendon Economic Development Board and former Lions Club member. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred E. Chamberlain Jr. in 1980 and his mother, Jean Colvin Chamberlain in 2001. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Catherine Chamberlain of Dallas; a son, Chris Chamberlain of Clarendon; and a sister, Carol Thompson and husband, Gene, of Pampa.
