Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery with Dr. Howard K. Batson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mrs. Dudley was born in Thurber and lived in Iraan most of her life. She graduated from Iraan High School. She moved to Amarillo in 1999 from Iraan. She married Walter Dudley on Nov. 2, 1945. She was a homemaker. She loved cooking, sewing and knitting. She taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974. Survivors include a son, Clay Dudley and wife, Linda, of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Jamie Kay Allen and husband, Sean, of Dallas and Benjamin Clay Dudley and wife, Jamie, of Waco; two nephews, John Dorris of Iraan and Jay Dudley Munsell of Ozona; a niece, Euda Lee Kemper of Midland; and a sister-in- law, Betty Munsell of Ozona. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St., with Brad Small officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her first husband, Haskell C. Howard, and her second husband, Leonard McGinnis. Survivors include a daughter, Nita Lamkin; five sons, W.R. Howard, Dwayne C. Howard, Garland D. Howard, Billy G. Howard and Douglas A. Howard; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members. Mrs. Freeman was native of Paris and resided in Amarillo for 20 years, coming from Phillips. Georgia St. Miss White was born in Amarillo to Albert and Leila White. She retired from Mason and Hanger after more than 30 years of employment. Miss White was a member of West Amarillo Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Clara White; and a brother, Charles White. Survivors include a sister, Virginia McDowell of Amarillo; a nephew, Dan McDowell of Amarillo; and her best friend, Nita Duncan of Amarillo. She married Frank Knight Silcott on Dec. 8, 1926, in Channing. Survivors include four daughters, Frances Edwards of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Roberta Babb, Mary Janis Lewis and Anne Briggs, all of Pampa; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Forrester was born Feb. 7, 1939, in Quanah to Clarence N. Osborne and Ida Ritchie Osborne. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Glendon; her mother of Altus, Okla.; a daughter, Sharon Kay Scofield of Lubbock; and a sister, Kay McKean of Altus. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in The Chapel in Clovis with the Rev. Brad Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis. Mr. Lee was born March 8, 1954, to Cleovis Lee and Norma Lockmiller in Clovis. He worked in construction all over New Mexico before moving to Juneau, Alaska, where he lived for 22 years. Survivors include a son, Alan Lee of Roswell; his mother of Clovis; his stepfather, Richard Townsend of Clovis; and a sister, Janice Wilson of Ruidoso. Miller LUBBOCK - George C. Miller, 86, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Steve Sellers officiating and the Rev. Harry Allen assisting. Arrangements are by Rix Funeral Directors. Mr. Miller was born July 16, 1918, in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1940, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He married Mary Masterson Kritser in Amarillo in 1947. They lived in Oklahoma City and Detroit before settling in Lubbock in 1951. Mary died in 1992 after 45 years of marriage. In 1996, he married Betty Trent Ranck in Lubbock. Mr. Miller served as a major in the Air Force Supply Corps during World War II and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. During the course of his business career, Mr. Miller was associated with Armstrong Cork Co., followed by Kritser Supply Co., Time Motor Freight, Miller Whiteside Cattle Company, Citizens National Bank and Texas Commerce Bank. He retired from Texas Commerce Bank in 1978, but continued to serve on its board of directors. Mr. Miller spent his later years giving his time and support to numerous community boards and committees, including a deep commitment to Methodist Hospital (now Covenant), serving in many capacities from 1967 to 1998. A strong supporter of Texas Tech University, he served on the Foundation Board, the Chancellors Council and the Athletic Council. He has continued his support of Texas Tech athletics as a member of the Red Raider Club and an avid supporter of football and mens' and womens' basketball. Survivors include his wife; a brother, David S. Miller of Cleveland; three children, Martha Jarnagin and Jack Miller, both of Amarillo and Shelby Miller of Santa Fe, N.M.; eight grandchildren, a great-grandchild; and three stepchildren, Ruthann Tarbox and Bill Ranck, both of Austin and Bob Ranck of Lubbock. The family suggests memorials be to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, the Ranching Heritage Center or the Center for the Study of Addiction and Recovery at Texas Tech University.
