Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field, retired minister, officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Gallagher was born in Winchester, Conn. She moved to Amarillo in 1970. She married Roy Gallagher in 1951. She owned and operated several restaurants with her husband. She was a hard worker and always wanted to pay her own way. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Crayton of California and Elizabeth Cardwell of Amarillo; seven sons, Joseph Gallagher of Washington, James Gallagher of Utah, John Gallagher of New Mexico, Charles Gallagher of California, Robert Gallagher of Texarkana, and Patrick Gallagher and Michael Gallagher, both of Amarillo; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Gross was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Alvis and Lucille Campbell Gross. He was an avid fisherman who was a great cook and lover of animals. He was married to his wife, Wanda Gross for 48 years. He was preceded in death by his mother; his father; and two sisters. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael "Butch" Gross of Amarillo and Alvis Lee Gross of Plano; three daughters, Delores Yauck of Follett, Penny Denny of Independence, Mo., and Beverly Billington of Patterson, La.; a sister, Jerry Lambert and husband, Chester; 11 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mr. Talbert was born in Waco and raised in Happy. He graduated from Happy High School and began serving in the Army on June 23, 1943, at Camp Wolters. He married Willie Holman in Canyon on Oct. 12, 1944. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. He was a self-employed mechanic in Phillips and worked for several years for J. Evetts Haley as a rancher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie E. Talbert Sr. and Pauline Woodall Talbert. Survivors include his wife; a son, Wayne H. Talbert and wife, Sharen, of Guymon, Okla.; two daughters, Lora "Sissy" Strickland and husband, Larry, of Happy and Connie Lovell and husband, Don, of Fritch; a brother, Leslie Talbert Jr. and wife, Ruth, of Abilene; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of Pampa Senior Citizens Center. She married John Kennedy Garcia on Aug. 20, 1974, in Wichita. Survivors include her husband; four children, Stacy D.
