No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Hinkle, born Oct. 29, 1954, in Dalhart, had lived in Amarillo most of his life. He had worked as a laborer for Metro Electric. Survivors include his mother, Callie Hinkle of Ashland, Ohio; a daughter, Brandy Hinkle of Ashland; a son, Adam Hinkle of Ashland; two brothers, Kenneth Hinkle of Amarillo and Ray Hinkle of Corpus Christi; and a sister, Lydia Gray of West Salem, Ohio. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church Chapel with Monsignor Joseph Tash officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Hooks was born Aug. 27, 1909, in Comanche County to James and Alba Earl Hill Barnett. She was the fifth child born to a family of 10. She came to Amarillo in 1942 to work at Pantex until World War II ended and Pantex closed. She then worked at the Amarillo Air Force Base until it closed. She lived more than 40 years in the Eastridge addition of Amarillo. She was a member of Eastridge Baptist Church. She was a previous member of Sanborn Baptist Church and Glenwood Baptist Church. Susie loved her family and friends, never passing an opportunity to do a kind deed for others. She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubert Hooks; a son, Roche Hooks; and a grandson, David Hooks. Survivors include two daughters, Flora Cox of Burkburnett and Neva Burks and husband, Robert, of Amarillo; a sister, Larue Ramsey of Las Cruces, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Johnson was born in Oklahoma and raised in Hedley. He served in the Army in Korea. He was awarded the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. He married Gail Weaver in Chickasha, Okla., on July 13, 1961. He retired to Hedley from Amarillo in 1979. He owned and operated Johnson Home Repair and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Clarendon. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hedley. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Dennis King Jr. of Memphis, Clifford Johnson of Hedley and S.J. She had been a resident of Amarillo for more than 60 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. She married Ernest McAvoy on Aug. 22, 1935, in Plainview. She was preceded in death by her husband. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery Field of Valor with military rites by DAV Chapter No. 26. Mr. Scott was born in Sweetwater. He moved to Amarillo in 1968 from San Antonio. Mr. Scott served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1965. He owned and operated Scotty's Texaco and College Shamrock service stations for several years. He also worked as a system analyst for Amarillo College, retiring in 2003. He enlisted in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. After his time of service, he enrolled in college at ENMU and received a degree in gemology. Mrs. Diller was born Sept. 21, 1941, in Lubbock to James and Emily Pavlicek. She graduated from Hereford High School in 1959 and attended Loretto Heights College in Denver. She married Kenneth Arnold Diller on Aug. 20, 1960, in Hereford. She resided in Texline for 36 years and was a homemaker, community volunteer and secretary of the local water district for many years. She was very active in St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she served as organist, secretary and bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Pavlicek Jr. Survivors include her parents of Hereford; her husband; two sons, Nick of Clayton, N.M., and Mike of Texline; a daughter, Emily Knight of Hereford; a brother, John Pavlicek of Houston; a sister, Camille Pavlicek-Fauser of Kent, Ohio; and seven grandchildren. Pratt PANHANDLE - Johnny K. Pratt, 80, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in Amarillo. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Grace Fellowship Church. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. The Rev. Pratt was born July 25, 1924, in Fort Supply, Okla. He was a minister at Grace Fellowship Church. Rev. Pratt, a lifelong pastor, teacher and evangelist, began his ministry at the age of 16. He was valedictorian of his class at Southwestern Assembly of God Bible College. He served his country proudly in the Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Krissy Jo Kitchens, and three brothers, Glenn Pratt, Sam Pratt and Arty Pratt. Mr. Duvall was born Jan. 2, 1926, in Gould, Okla., the son of Melvin and Maggie Duvall. He married Mary Richey at Weatherford, Okla., in 1950. Mr. Duvall retired from the education profession in 1982, after 33 years of service. He was a veteran, having served in the Navy during World War II, and was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a kind and loving husband, a great father and a friend to many. Private graveside services will be in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Goggans Funeral Home. Mrs. Del Fuoco was born in Electra on Jan. 14, 1939, to Maureen and Clovis Edwards. She was raised in Amarillo and in Sunnyslope, Ariz. Mrs. Del Fuoco attended college at Arizona State University and Bob Jones Baptist University, where she studied elementary education. She was a member of the Baptist church her entire life. She married Jerome Paul Del Fuoco in Arizona in 1962. They resided in Las Vegas until her husband's death in 1974. She was also preceded in death by a son, Paul, who died as an infant in 1973. Survivors include two children, Michelle Dorris and husband, Jerry, of LaGrange, Ky., and Greg Del Fuoco; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jonah Dorris; a sister Janice Johnson and husband, Ben, of Amarillo; and a brother, Michael Edwards.
