Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Travis Evans officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 4 in Mount Sterling Cemetery in Mahoney. Miss Johnson was born in Hopkins County on Sept. 14, 1925, to Mohan and Allie Mae Johnson. She was a devoted and loyal employee of Southwestern Bell for 32 years. She worked as a telephone operator in the Dallas area until her retirement. It was at that time she moved to Dike, where she lived until moving to Amarillo four years ago. Miss Johnson loved to travel with friends anywhere she could, but her favorite places to visit were Yellowstone National Park and New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Muriel and Velma; and three brothers, Claude, Alvie and Coris. Her sister, Zella, passed away Nov. 25, 2004. Survivors include two sisters, Ruby and Gay; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend, Maudie; and numerous friends at Georgia Manor. Sanders, 92, of Amarillo, formerly of Lakeview, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Travis Evans officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Lakeview. Mrs. Sanders was born March 22, 1912, in Saltillo to Mohan and Allie Mae Johnson. She married Zelbert Carl Sanders on April 19, 1929. They moved to Hall County in 1942. She was a homemaker until 1969, when she became the cook for the Lakeview ISD until her retirement in 1992. Mrs. Sanders also cooked for the Lakeview Lions Club until they moved their meetings to Memphis. She moved to Amarillo in March 1993 to be closer to her family, as she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years; a granddaughter, Terri Elaine Sanders; a grandson, David Paul Sanders; three sisters; three brothers; and two sons-in-law, Bill Johnson and Berle Beavers. Survivors include three daughters, Grace Beavers and Betty Thompson and husband, Daryl, all of Amarillo, and Oneta Johnson of Lake Whitney; three sons, Howard Sanders and wife, Jane, and Harold Sanders, all of Amarillo and Royce Sanders and wife, Debbie, of Euless; two sisters, Ruby and Gay; five sisters-in-law, Frankie, Oleta, Minnie, Evelyn and Manah; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; all her friends from Georgia Manor; and four brothers-in-law, Dupree, Shorty, Luke and Jack. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Cudd was born July 29, 1918, in the Swearingen Community of Collingsworth County to Noel Cudd and Lizzette Harrison Cudd. He married Jean Light on Sept. 7, 1957, in Corpus Christi. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Carolyn Sanford of Seattle, Nancy Samuels of San Jose, Calif., and Janice Stallings of Lubbock; a son, Jim Lindsey of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sarchet was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Dallas County. She moved to Tulia at the age of three and grew up here. She graduated from Tulia High School. She married Donald D. Sarchet on Aug. 28, 1948, in Tulia. She moved to Borger in 1962 and to Amarillo in 1980. She worked as a telephone operator from 1948 to 1954 and was a hairdresser from 1969 to 1986. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo. Burial will be in Boise City Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary. Mrs. Twyman was born Oct. 10, 1933, in a two-room dugout in Eva. She married John Henry Twyman at the family farm on June 24, 1951. Survivors include her husband; her mother, Faye Cline of Boise City; two brothers, Carl Wayne Cline of Millington, Tenn., and Dayton Gene Cline of Eva; her children, John Wayne Twyman, Thomas Edward Twyman and Leona Beth Turner, all of Boise City, LaVonna Carol Smith of Perry, and Kendall Mark Twyman of Tuttle; many grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
