Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with the Rev. Clifton A. Mann, rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial with military rites by DAV Chapter 26 will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Fielding was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Lubbock County to Robert Earnest Fielding and Estell Elmore Fielding. He graduated from Grovesville School in 1934 and enlisted in the Army Air Corps in January 1941. After completing pilot training in 1943, he was commissioned second lieutenant and served 18 months overseas in England, France, Italy and Germany. He participated in the D-Day invasion of Normandy, invasion of Southern France, Northern France, Belgium, Holland and the low countries of Germany at the Rhine River. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded the Air Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, six Bronze Stars and a Victory Medal. His group was the 442nd Troop Carrier, 304th Squadron. He also received two Presidential Unit Citations. He married Mary Joe Coe of Lubbock in 1945. He worked as a farm machinery salesperson for 27 years and retired in 1978. You are our hero, and you'll be greatly missed. Survivors include two sons, Tim Fielding of Austin and Larry Fielding of Amarillo; a daughter, Lori Adamson of Amarillo; and a grandson, Austin Fielding of Amarillo. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fresno with Monsignor Joseph Tash of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery in Fresno. Local arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Ford was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Fresno. She graduated from Edison High School in Fresno. She married Ernest Ford in Fresno on Sept. 16, 1951. She retired from the city of Fresno Police Department after many years of loyal service. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ford, in August 1998. She married Domingo Lopez in Amarillo in 1937. She was employed by Key and Juanita Furr for more than 40 years. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and the first president of the Guadalupanas. She was also a member of Woodman of the World. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother. She touched many with thoughtfulness and kindness. She will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Fransisca Rodriguez; three children, Roberto, Consuelo and Rosa; a son-in-law, Raul M. Ornelas Sr.; a brother, Pascual Rodriguez; four sisters, Fransisca Chavez, Esperanza De La Garza, Ramona Martinez and Lorenza Ballin; and a grandson, Joshua Lopez. Mr. Hall was born June 8, 1947, in Amarillo to Blevin and Norrie Eliza Hall. Mrs. Pounds was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Sedgwick, Kan., to Clarence and Sarah Dennett. She married Orville Hemme on Nov. 29, 1936. They made their home in Amarillo until Mr. Hemme's death in 1974. In 1974, she married George Lafayette Pounds. He passed away in 1998. She was a member of South Georgia Church of Christ and the Amarillo Country Club. She spent her life loving her family and being a good Christian influence to all. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; both her husbands; and an infant grandson. Bob spent his life as a business entrepreneur, including 30 years in the nightclub business. Having always marched to his own drummer, Bob is leaving a parade of loved ones and will be missed by his family and friends. Georgia St. in Amarillo. Mr. Brown was born Aug. 26, 1928, in Goodnight to C.H. and Beatrice Judd Brown and was raised on a farm north of Goodnight. He attended school in Goodnight and Groom, graduating in 1945 from Groom at the age of 16. Fred married his high school sweetheart, Juanita Dee Williams, in Groom on April 24, 1948. He was engaged in farming and ranching. He farmed for 56 years north of Groom and raised Registered Black Angus cattle. For more than 50 years, he showed Angus cattle all over the Southwest. Mr. Brown was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church in Groom, Masonic Lodge, Texas Angus Association, American Angus Association and Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, J.C. Brown; and two sisters, Opal Spurgeon and Zola Mae Webb. Mrs. Lopez was born Oct. 6, 1932, in Georgewest. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a Cruzulitta.
