Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Dozier Church of Christ in Dozier with Terry Sheldon and Sean Zybach officiating. Burial will be in Dozier Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors. Mrs. Breeding was born Dec. 1, 1917, in Van Zandt County to W.C. and Rose Ella Dickerson Ray. She was a member of Dozier Church of Christ and was a faithful wife, devoted mother and grandmother and caring sister. Tess married and was preceded in death by her loving husband, J.C. Breeding, in 1987 after 55 years of marriage. They were lifelong residents of the Abra and Dozier communities. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Floyd Ray, Bernice "Bunk" Ray, E.J. "Eck" Ray and Jim Ray; and a sister, Rose Nell Habeeb. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dee Slocum and the Rev. David Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Groom Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. in Amarillo. Mr. Brown was born Aug. 26, 1928, in Goodnight to C.H. and Beatrice Judd Brown and was raised on a farm north of Goodnight. He attended school in Goodnight and Groom, graduating in 1945 from Groom at the age of 16. Fred married his high school sweetheart, Juanita Dee Williams, in Groom on April 24, 1948. He was engaged in farming and ranching. He farmed for 56 years north of Groom and raised registered Black Angus cattle. For more than 50 years, he showed Angus cattle all over the southwest. Mr. Brown was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church in Groom, Masonic Lodge, Texas Angus Association, American Angus Association and Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, J.C. Brown; and two sisters, Opal Spurgeon and Zola Mae Webb. Mr. Martindale was born Nov. 21, 1934, in Whittenburg. He lived in the Panhandle area his whole life. He married Pat Branson on Nov. 24, 1954, in Las Cruces, N.M. He was involved in agriculture in Perryton. He loved football, hunting and, most of all, his family. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Guymon, Okla. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Neill was born April 13, 1927, in Albuquerque, N.M. She married A.J. Hallmark on Jan. 20, 1944, in San Francisco. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1966, in Hamlin. She had been a resident of Skellytown since 1968. She married Melvin V. Neill on July 19, 1968, in Skellytown. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2000. She retired from the Worley Hospital in 1974 as an LVN. She attended Church of Christ at Borger. She was active in the Hutchinson County Genealogical Society and was the founder of the Red Bonnets of Texas Chapter of the Red Hats Society. Mr. Vincent was born May 10, 1939, in Channing to Roy and Bessie Vincent. He graduated from Hartley High School in 1957. He married Mary Cook in 1961. He joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Hood until being honorably discharged. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartley. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert Vincent and Calvin Vincent. Mrs. Pounds was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Sedgwick, Kan., to Clarence and Sarah Dennett. She married Orville Hemme on Nov. 29, 1936. They made their home in Amarillo until Mr. Hemme's death in 1974. In 1974, she married George Lafayette Pounds. He passed away in 1998. She was a member of South Georgia Church of Christ and the Amarillo Country Club. She spent her life loving her family and being a good Christian influence to all. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; both her husbands and an infant grandson. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Conley was born Jan. 31, 1928, in Mobeetie, the only child of Weldon and Angie Case. She married Charles D. Conley Jr. in Weatherford on Sept. 11, 1942. She was 14, and he was 17. They celebrated 54 years together before his death on June 30, 1996. They moved from Fort Worth to Amarillo in 1951. Georgia enjoyed travel, especially to the mountains, and her wonderful church family. She was a charter member of Church of Christ at the Colonies. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Randy McClendon; and a great-grandson, Charles Lee Conley. They had a son, Joe Love, and a daughter, Norma Jean. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a daughter, Norma Jean Kahn.
