A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christian Assembly Church in Hereford. Mr. Greenway was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Frederick, Okla. He was a veteran of the Navy. He was a lifelong resident of the Amarillo area. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1991. During his retirement he worked for the Happy Independent School District. He also enjoyed working with the elderly at a local nursing home. He loved his farm, horses, animals, fishing and his family, which included one great-grandchild on the way. He will be missed by many friends and family. Survivors include four daughters, Ronda DeMoss and husband, Doug, of Gilbert, Iowa, Tina Skinner and husband, Boy, of Grand Prairie, Sandee Stokes and husband, Shane, of Pampa and Lisa McMaster and husband, Mark, of Plano; two sons, Jim Cook and wife, Missy, of Houston and Ronnie Greenway Jr. and wife, Roxxan, of Amarillo; his parents, Ancil and Betty Greenway of Hereford; five sisters, Cheryl Werflein of Bennett, Colo., Iretta Kimbell and Shirla Williams, both of Amarillo, Dana Wisner and Carla Lary, both of Clovis, N.M.; and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Key was a Dumas resident since 1949. He was born Dec. 2, 1909, in Fort Towsend, Okla. He was a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church in Dumas. He married Jelene Lewis on April 9, 1931, in Sayre, Okla. He was an industrial insulation contractor for more than 40 years. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Carl Lee. Mr. Norris was born Sept. 25, 1910, in Coleman County. He married Eva Mae Norris on Oct. 12, 1930, and they were married 74 years. He worked in the oil fields for 30 years. He was a longtime resident of Skellytown. He was a master mechanic. His hobbies were fishing, dancing, playing the harmonica for his family and yodeling. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters. She was born Jan. 28, 1912, in Crosbyton. Corey is the last surviving of eight children born to Wesley and Lillie A. Smith. She was a bookkeeper for 73 years. She finally laid down the ledgers at age 91. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, J. Wallace Smith, Moody Smith and Wesley Smith, all of Amarillo, and Alfred Smith of El Paso; and three sisters, Ann Owens, Bessie Threet and Mozelle Walsh, all of Amarillo. Mrs. Brethour was born June 18, 1910, in Salina, Kan. She graduated from Salina High School and attended Kansas Wesleyan. Isabel married Herman Brethour and they had a daughter, Saundra Kay Brethour. The Brethours moved with Herman's V.A. transfers from Camp Phillips, Kan., to Topeka, Kan., to Fort Bayard, N.M., and then to Amarillo in 1960. Mrs. Brethour was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter.
