Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Fellowship Church with Tim Kettenring, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Erin was born and lived her entire life in Amarillo. She attended Windsor Elementary School before entering Trinity Fellowship Christian School two years ago. She played basketball and volleyball for Trinity Fellowship Christian School. Erin loved being outdoors, fixing things, riding her electric scooter and taking care of her nephew, Brayden. Erin was her daddy's little tomboy and will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Family Life Fellowship Church with Dale Travis, pastor, officiating and Dale Westbrook, pastor of New Fellowship Baptist Church, assisting. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Maddox was born and raised in Leesville, La. She moved to Amarillo in 1971 from Leesville. Rachel was a child care giver for many years. For the last few years, she was a housekeeper for several special families. Mrs. Maddox married Donnie Maddox on March 2, 1993, at Amarillo. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Rachel was a wonderful wife, mother and granny and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ava Grimes; a brother, Glen Grimes; and a brother-in-law, Glen Parker. "Ray" Taylor, 77, of Amarillo died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rusty Dickerson and the Rev. Perry Hunsaker officiating. Private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Mr. Taylor was born April 20, 1927, in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. He volunteered for the Army Air Corps in 1944 and received training in the Army Specialized Reserve Program. Mr. Taylor graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1950 with a degree in chemical engineering. He started work for Silas Mason Co. at the Burlington Atomic Energy Commission Plant in Burlington, Iowa, that year, where he met his future wife, Jacqueline Faye Rolf. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were married on Nov. 16, 1952, in Burlington. Mr. Taylor was transferred to the Pantex Plant in Amarillo in 1974 as the division manager of manufacturing engineering. He was especially proud of his role in providing for our nation's security and was a member of the American Defense Preparedness Association. He retired from Pantex in 1991. Ray was a good friend to many and always cared more about others than himself. He remembered the names of everyone he met, including his many employees over the years. He enjoyed meeting weekly for coffee and donuts with the Pantex retirees. Mr. Taylor was an active member of St. Luke United Church of Christ in Burlington for 23 years and joined St. Paul United Methodist Church in Amarillo in 1974. He was a member of the Friendship Bible Class and the church choir. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce. Survivors include his wife of 52 years; a son, Steven and wife, Cheryl, of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Jean Bailey and husband, Donny, of Parker, Colo., and Stacey Anthony and husband, Robert, of Amarillo.; a brother, Wesley of Belleville, Ill.; three granddaughters, Angela Coniglio and husband, Bryan of Lincoln, Neb., Aubrey Bailey of Parker and Cheri Sweaney of Kansas City; a grandson, Jackson Ray Taylor of Kansas City, who was named after Jackie and Ray; four nieces; and a nephew. Mrs. Duncan was born in Olton. She married Lowell Duncan in Amarillo on Jan. 15, 1971. She was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Duncan was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, James Brian Duncan in 1972; her father, Audy Houston Mobbs in 1999; and a brother, Audy Lynn Mobbs in 1999. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jared Duncan and wife, Beth, of Amarillo; a sister, Diana Scott and husband, David, of Canyon; her mother, Hazel F. Services will be private. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mr. Munn was born in Goodnight and moved to Amarillo in his childhood. He was crude oil manager of Diamond Shamrock. He served in the Army in Europe during World War II. Mr. Munn was probably best known as one of the best amateur golfers in the Texas Panhandle. In 1973, he was inducted into the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame, and in 2000, he was selected by the Amarillo Globe-News as one of the 100 Best Sports Legends of the 20th Century. He was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; a daughter, Debra Munn of Brighton, Sussex, England; a son-in-law, Mick Henry of Brighton; and a sister, Frances Cyrus of Farmington, N.M. Hunter on Dec. 25, 1935, in Yukon, Okla. For more than 35 years, Mrs. Hunter lived in Amarillo and worked at the Amarillo Botanical Gardens and the Northwest Texas Hospital Pavilion. The last six years of her life were spent with her twin sister, Oleta, at the Craig Methodist Retirement Center. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, L.D. McIntosh; and four sisters, Jessie Jackson, Gladys Jackson, Oleta Simmons and Lenore McIntosh. Interstate 40. Mr. Frost was born Sept. 30, 1908, in Beaver County, Okla., Indian Territory. He lived most of his life in Amarillo. He married Mae Kerr in March of 1947. They would have been married for 58 years. He was a self-employed truck tire dealer and raised greyhound dogs. He enjoyed coyote hunting with friends. He was preceded in death by a grandson in 2000 and seven brothers. Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, in Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Canadian, Texas, with Don McElroy officiating. Mr. Rogers was born June 29, 1927, in Shattuck to the late Mr. Irwin Rogers and Mrs. Elizabeth Opal Barnett Rogers. He graduated from Canadian High School in 1944. He then attended West Texas State University before entering the Navy, serving in the South Pacific. He later attended North Texas State University from 1946 to 1948. From 1961 to 1968, he worked in municipal government/city management and retired in 1987 from Pioneer Natural Gas in Amarillo, Texas, in the accounting department. He lived on the farm where he grew up in Canadian from 1988 to 2004. He loved working in his garden on the farm and the company of family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Larry Warren Rogers of Salinas, Calif., and Lance Rogers of Catoosa; two daughters, Lindie Hopkins of Tulsa and Lisa Hymer of Broken Arrow; a brother, Robert Rogers of Canadian; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Whitehead, D.C., 58, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, in Grapevine. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in J.E. Foust & Son Memorial Chapel in Grapevine. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Dumas. Dr. Whitehead was born to R.N. and Margaret Whitehead on Aug. 7, 1946, in Davenport, Iowa. Upon R.N.'s graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the family moved to Eastland and then on to Dumas in 1952. John graduated from Dumas High School and studied at Amarillo College and West Texas State University. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, he enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1969. He practiced chiropractic with his father and subsequently opened his own private practice. In 1986, Dr. Whitehead moved to San Antonio and then later to Grapevine/Southlake, where he had been practicing chiropractic until his death. He served on numerous boards and committees, both inside the chiropractic profession as well as in the public sector. Some of his most cherished were South Central region director for Palmer College Alumni Association, Texas Chiropractic Association board of directors and Texas Chiropractic College board of regents. He had been an active member with the Texas Chiropractic Association for 35 years. In his younger years, he was active in coaching little league baseball and was involved in fundraising for renovations to the Dumas YMCA. He was an active member of the Dumas Noon Lions Club, where he proudly enjoyed cooking and serving hamburgers at the annual Dogie Days Celebration. He spent his professional life dedicated to the care of his patients and his personal life dedicated to his family. He was beloved by his patients and family and was blessed with a brilliant sense of humor as well as compassion for his fellow man. Friends, family and patients will remember he was quick with a joke and a smile and unwavering in his quest for health for his patients. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie; a son, Dr. Todd Whitehead and wife, Gerri, of Amarillo; a daughter, Erin Pingelton and husband, Jerod, of Dumas and son, Cpl. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery. Thomas was born July 18, 1988, in Durant, Okla., to Tom and Tammy Earls Current. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Tammy and John Caldwell of Mart; his father and stepmother, Tom and Veronica Current of Amarillo; three brothers, John Caldwell Jr. of Harker Heights, Rick Current of Houston and Chris Joffrion of Amarillo; six sisters, Tera Caldwell of Harker Heights, Teresa Earls of Ben Hur, Brigitte Joffrion, Amanda Chason and Dana Chason, all of Amarillo, and Keelie Current of Kemp; his grandmothers, Ann Caldwell of Mart and Barbara Earp of Springtown; his grandfathers, Clarence Earp of Springtown and Clifton Current of Bennington, Okla.; and his great- grandmother, Maisie Wilhite of Weatherford.
